For a while, Shadow wonders how Sonic can be so nonchalant. In a way, he wishes he could be this unbothered. Perhaps… he’d judged him too harshly over the years. Sure, he could be a pain in the ass. But this? This is probably the closest he’s ever felt to him. No tension, no conflict. Just them and nothing else. Maybe… he’d want the moment to last a little longer. He still isn’t really sure what he’s feeling, but it makes him feel good… warm.

Posted my first Sonadow fic!

Update: The final chapters are up!

Now a lone traveller, Shadow suddenly comes across his old ally-rival, Sonic, who has also been travelling alone. Meeting the rest of Team Dark along the way, he reflects on his journey throughout their adventure and slowly starts to realise that having people around isn't that bad. But some mistakes catch up to him, leading to him questioning whether he's better off alone instead.

The whole thing is inspired by a bunch of songs that I think fit Shadow and the story, so bonus points if you recognise the chapter titles! The overall plot and name is inspired by Ghost’s ‘Call Me Little Sunshine’ :3
