   Hating him? Fake pity? Those words alone – along with his reaction and rather rough-movement of grabbing his arms – were enough to make him make some sad beeps. He doesn’t hate Whirl … and he definitely doesn’t feel any sort of fake pity for anyone on the team. The team was his family and he couldn’t hate anyone!

“ – not fake pity. I’m concerned. What’s wrong? ”

“Last time I checked you weren’t my therapist that I was forced to talk to if I wanna stay out of prison. So that means, yes, it’s fake pity. You’re not even getting paid!”

But he knew how Autobots ‘worked’, he’d never be free from the questions. Couldn’t a guy just be upset? “You wanna help me? Stand over there and be a target.”

Whirl is once again upset about something ... so it's Bumblebee's duty to fix things. He'll quickly wrap Whirl up in a hug, gently patting his back in a comforting way -- or, well, he hoped it was comforting enough for him. " It's alright."

"Alright? AL-RIGHT?! It’s not alright! Nothing’s alright! And you grabbing me or singing a stupid song or whatever it is you optimistic people do isn’t going to fix that!”

Whirl, with some rather obvious restraint, grabbed the smaller bot’s arm in his claws and jerked it away. “I don’t need your stupid fake pity either so you can stop hugging me and go back to hating me like everyone else does.”
