i’ve spent the last several days researching early 20th century mongolian naming practices and its very fun. what wasn’t fun was when i discovered cyrillic wasn’t used till the 1940s and there’s a whole other script i need to use. but other than that i have been having the time of my life. i am, unfortunately, barely closer to picking a new name for my boy. but anyways.
