Grian is hit by two things: first, the American accent, second, a wave of indignation. Because as she glances over, a pit of dread sinks its way into her stomach. A foretelling of oncoming doom, comparable to any conventional omen. Because sitting propped up on a stool in the centre of the raised platform that doesn't quite constitute a stage, is a woman. A woman with an acoustic guitar. Which can only mean one thing. The volume of the backing sound system dies down, gone are the slightly wheezy indie rock hits, preparing for whatever horrors a woman in a pub with an acoustic guitar who hasn't experienced bloody microphone feedback before has in store for them.

(in which Gem bets Grian she can set her up with a girlfriend, three lesbians and one bisexual bitch at a pub and Grian meets Scar, an encounter that's very incidental and definitely won't alter the future trajectory of her life)

It was close to an hour after 8 P.M - prime time for scavenging - and the town was quiet and isolated, as of yet blissfully empty. The tiny corner store had graciously given him (or well, allowed him to freely steal, which was much of the same thing nowadays) some resources, and Grian was busy looking in that nasty space underneath the counter nobody thinks to check when the cat interrupted him. Quickly shoving the odd cherry lollipop and two cereal bars he found into his pocket, leaving behind cigarettes butts and loose change, he looked up to the furry animal worming its way through fallen shelves and broken glass. It didn't look like it had got rabies, but it never hurt to look twice. Careful had become everyone's second name, when the world had started to stop working as it should. (Nevermind that there were so few cats and dogs left the virus was probably all the way up to extinction.) It walked close to him, expertly dodging the debris littering the floor, with an agility that left no doubt to its cognitive ability. Grian had found himself a cat, in the middle of the goddamn apocalypse.

tangotek the kind of guy to make a redstone contraption that fails and blows up in his face, and when the smoke clears from the explosion he is completely pitch black due to all of the ash, except for his eyes, which are still visible and go "blink blink" before he shakes the ashes off and is completely back to normal

sometimes you can tell when somebody who likes a ship just likes one of the characters and is simply using the other half as a vaguely ooc vehicle to make content for their fave which is whatever. not against the law. until the other half theyre using as a vehicle is YOUR fave. and then you want to explode them with your mind

to be honest there has never been a fictional character i’ve actually wanted to date. like. i want them to date each other. i don’t want myself as a person to be involved in this scenario whatsoever. what would i add to this narratively? what’s my thematic purpose in the narrative? immersion breaking.

1) Favourite Colour

It's yellow!! I really like the mustard shades, but yellow in all forms! I had no favourite colour for the longest time but one day I manned up and conditioned my brain to like one and yellow was chosen at random, and also because I didn't see a lot of people liking it so I felt bad for it :( But now I'm an absolute lover of yellow baby !😎☀️

2) Currently Reading

I just got done reading All quiet on the western front and House of leaves! The later was amazing, I loved it so much, the formatting is such a genius choice to get you intrigued in those three stories at once!

3) Last Song

I love this song!! Discovered it on a One Piece Sanji animatic (which ow my feelings) and honestly it's a vibe! I recommend listening to it running under heavy rain while having a little cry, it's good for the soul❤️

4) Last Series

😬... Hannibal... For the seventh time now... I know I'm done bad but can you blame me 💔 Also I am rewacthing it for wip reasons so does it really count... I never managed to find another show who hit this hard, everything from the composition to the acting to the dialogue pulls me in

5) Last Film

I just watched Sinners recently!! It was pretty cool, especially as a vampire fan <3 Though I will say this movie is much more than that, so open your eyes wide! Made me tear up a bit, none of them deserved any of that :,)

6) Sweet/Savoury/Salty

I have no idea what savoury means! I like salty things tho. I'm okay with sweet and sour but it's really not my preference

7) Tea or Coffee

Neither :P I don't like either of those... I don't really like any hot drinks actually! Hot chocolate is kind of okay but I must make it because I only add like one or two tea spoons of chocolate for the whole mug and i have to use special chocolate...

My apocalypse AU is in the editing stage right now!! Literally sent it to my beta reader just now, It mighttt be posted new week if further troubles don't arise!! :D

And then, depending on my mood, it's either the big fae AU, the demon au date chapter, or a mysterious scarian yuri... (vampires. It's about vampires.)
