Deon looked over to the commanders that stood before the demon kings office and before he knew it he was given a teddy bear from each of them.

,,Huh?", said Deon confused as he looked at the different teddy bears. He looked up to the commanders with a questioning look.

Ririnell excitedly announced:,,We heard that u had nightmares sometimes! So we decided to gift u a commonly seen sign of comfort - a teddy bear! And since u only deserve the best we couldnt just give u one."

,,Ah...i see.. thank u",Deon just wanted to get this done quickly so he excused himself to escape to his room.

On his way he thought:,,Why did they decide to gift me something for little kids? Are they looking down on me? I mean they didnt seem to notice that im weak so is this a declaring of a fight?"

Meanwhile the commanders:

,,Did he like our gift...?"

,,Didnt u see his slightly red ears?"

,,He must have been so touched by our gesture!"

,,Of course,he must have noticed how much we care for him-"

,,Well,he certainly will like mine the best"(this was said by Asild)

,,What,no! Mine is better"

(They went from a happy moment to an argument - since they were still in front of the demon kings office he heard them bickering and gave Asild and two other commanders a punishment)

As Deon strived through the halls of the demon castle to his room he noticed that everyone he passed by had to double check. This embarrassed him deeply.

Who wouldnt be? He - the second strongest in the demon realm and a well respected individual despite him being human - had 12 teddy bears in his arms. This was quite a sight and those who did not see it didnt believe those who told them about what they had witnessed.

After a few days it was time for Deon to return to the human realm - together with the teddy bears - he was asked (threatened) by some of the commanders to take their gifts with him. He agreed in the end because he got scared that they'd try to harm him otherwise.

,,My lord..?",Remember was quite shocked but quickly gained his composed self back.

,,What are those-?",Lianne was so shocked she couldnt help but be worried about her captains mental health.

,,Give them to the mad dogs",sighed Deon as he didnt want to see or have to deal with the teddy bears anymore.

Those two did so without asking any further however Remember did ask the imperial doctor to look at Deon again.

The reaction of the mad dogs were all the same. However these changed after Lianne said:,,The captain has gotten them with u in mind,be thankful!"

They looked at them before making a (stupid) little dance as this was the first gift they got from their Captain.

,,The captain gave these to us!",this time their voiced were filled with happiness.

,,Deon...might i ask u- are u okay?",the emperor asked this with visible concern to Deon.

,,...What do u mean,your majesty?"

,,Your mad dogs were reported to have been seen with teddy bears everywhere. I heard that they played with them like kids do and do nothing without them",he made a short pause to see the heros reaction.

,,Before u ask: i did NOT instruct them to do this"

,,Then why are they doing this? Should i send a doctor for them?"

,,I will talk to them first...",with this new gained knowledge headed Deon back. The people he passed by said that that day was the day the lofty knights would meet their end by their masters hands.

Deon got back to his manor when it was pitch dark outside already. He expected that most lights would be off but the stable lights were still on and it was quite loud in that direction. Our hero fetched Remember before heading inside.

Deons jaw dropped while Remember looked quite disturbed.

What could case this reaction?

The lofty knights dressed the teddys up with mini versions of their uniform and placed them on toy horses. The teddys had mini sword too and the lofty knights put "enemys" (a different type of doll) in front of them and they made their teddy versions fight them. To make matters worse they even made dialoge between those teddys and Lianne "lead the battle front". They even got themselves a rabbit version that had white fur and red eyes - they kept calling this one "Captain" and sometimes even made it do stupid actions so they could use grapejuice to make it "bleed" and "injured"

That day was the day the lofty knights regretted their actions and got a few creative punishments from Remember.

,,Deon and his secret lover!"

That was the title of the book found on the ground of the demon castle. It showed someone named "Melissa" and Deon on the cover. The cover seemed to be handdrawn and the story is said to be a fan fiction about Deon and themselves.

As soon as this book was found it was immediately brought to the demon king. The demon king decided to hold an emergency meeting with the commanders to find the author of the book.

Ririnell was the first one to get ready to find whoever wrote this about her beloved Arut since this was a grave sin.

The others also quickly argued as to who could possibly disrespect their well respected commander - that specific commander was still getting ready to come to the meeting.

Just as they started accusing each other like little kids and arguing under which commander this most likely happened opened the door. It became dead silent as they watched the last member of the 12 commanders to walk into this small battlefield (image the battlefield as when kids are arguing over toys or smth).

,,Why are they staring like that? Did they find out about how weak I am...?! Did they discuss my punishment??",as Deon had those thoughts he walked to his seat with an unreadable expression.

After a few seconds of silence regreted Deon coming to the meeting at all because the commanders bombarded Deon with questions. While Deon was trying to firgure out what they meant slided the demon king the book over to Deon. He looked it over before having more questions than answers. Seeing this the commander decided that this was not based on something that happened.

Shortly after this were the demons being watched closely and the rumours about the book and Arut quickly died down.

The author of this book was never found and it turned out that there was only one book copy of it.

2 months later was finally decided to act as if this incident never happened.

So what happened to the book copy?

The demon king burned it right after the emergency meeting without anyone knowing.

Deon was one of the Empires heros,a war hero and quite a feared individual.

No one could intimate him - at least that was what everyone that wasnt close to him thought.

,,CAPTAIN!!!"

,,WHERE ARE U?!"

,,STOP HIDING"

,,U HAVE TO GO WHETER U LIKE IT OR NOT"

Those screams were the only things that one could hear when the lofty knights started to search for something or someone. A lot of servants were seen crawling in the most cramped places as well as in trees and other spots. Even Remember was seen searching for something.

Some servants and knights sometimes saw a shadow running around and some heard quiet foot steps.

This went on for hours.

But why is the hart manor suddenly acting this way? Some people said that there was an intruder while others say that a demon appeared. Some even spread the rumour that they were looking for escaped prisoners and slaves.

They were obviously all wrong since the reason why is quite simple.

Deon had tooth decay and didnt want to vist a dentist. Deon often forgets to brush his teeth or intentionally doesn't brush them because he hates the taste of toothpaste - much to the demise of the ones following Deon. He regularly goes to the dentist because of that and gets a lecture from Remember very often.

Remember noticed that Deon was acting weird while he was eating and that he was eating less than usually so he checked Deons mouth. Remember then tried to get Deon to his carriage but Deon knew they were going to go to the dentist - even if Remember kept saying they were going to a bookstore. Thats how the current situation happened.

After a long day of searching they fond Deon sleeping in a hidden corner of the storage. They then got the dentist over which woke Deon up and they had to hold him down during the entire procedure. As Remember promised, Deon was then going to a few book stores to get any book he wanted. When they were back at the mansion they only got the cold shoulder from Deon for a month. He stayed in his room and didnt allow any of them to see him and Deon made sure to not be nice to them and completely ignore them. He often acted like a grumpy cat during that time.

He also once ran to the emperor and hid there. The royals didnt know that he was using them to hide so they gladly allowed Deon to stay at the palast for a few days. The knights and Remember came to get their Captain after they heard he was there and they had to drag him away.

After that the emperor made sure to always check if Deon came alone or with one of his people so this doesnt happen again.

While on the way to the demon realm (around the time that Cassius was still alive):

While on the way to the demon king Deon was seen to have a few books with him. On the book covers were things like "the history of the empire" or "war strategies" - this made everyone want to work harder as they saw that Deon was working even when he wasnt required to.

Deon and Cassius shared their tent together because Cassius was not afraid of Deon.

However it soon became clear to Cassius that Deon had a secret. Everytime Cassius tried to read one of these books Deon was quick to grab them and made some lousy excuses as to why Cassius couldnt read the book.

So when Deon fell asleep after a tiring day Cassius took one of Deons books.

,,Lets see what he tries to hide so desperately...",mumbled our hero as he opened the book and started reading.

After a while a short ,,What the-" escaped the heros lips as he quickly looked at the other pages. To say that he was shocked was an understatement. While he looked at the mini notes all over the pages and highlights he let out a soft chuckle. He never expected Deon - a war hero and highly admired and feared individual,as well as a little scared boy - to read this kind of stuff.

So what did our Deon read that made Cassius have such a reaction u ask?

Romance.

All the books had fake covers to hide the content of them. The books were all very sweet with some containing family love while others had love with friends and lovers.

The little notes and highlights? Deon sometimes fangirls over scenes or character and he makes little notes about what he likes as well as when he hates a character. He likes to highlight things he would love to hear from others and things he wanted to hear from his family.

Sometimes Deon also put names to scences or actions that he thinks a person he knows would do. An example is that Deon once put his parents names next to a scene where two people ignored their rabbit and only focused on their fox. But the name that he most often put next to scenes where cute moments happened was "hero" - since Deon called Cassius this and Deon hadnt learned Cassius' name that was what had to do.

Cassius put the books back after a while and he read some of the things Deon highlighted whenever he had time. He liked how Deon saw him and it gave Cassius always a happy feeling that Deon thought about him so often - even though our hero didnt know why. Our hero also made sure to say some of the lines that Deon seemed to want to hear very often. That means whenever Deon was near him - it made Deon turn slightly red each time - which Cassius found adorable.

Sometimes Cassius said those things to "Deon" while they were fighting demons and that "Deon" was confused and always made comments telling Cassius to stop that but he never did anything other than that and after a few times he just accepted that Cassius said those things to him.

This caused rumours among the other soldiers but the rumour would never leave the small group.

Deon kept writing about Cassius in notes even after he had passed away. For Deon was the time he and his hero spent the best he had - even though he first thought that the hero made fun of him. Deons regret during the short time they spent was that Deon could never return the soft giggles the hero made to him.

,,Why can't I eat the same amount of chocolate as u?",Deon asked this with sad eyes while looking at Cruel.

,,How come u can eat cake while I only am allowed to eat some cookies?"

Questions like these hurt Cruels heart,Deon always wanted to be treated the same as Cruel but no one explained to him as to why he wasn't treated the same.

One day Cruel decided he was going to get Deon some cake - even if he would get in trouble. He would do anything for Deon even disobey his parents for the first time.

When all lights went out and everyone was fast asleep, Cruel quietly and stealthy tiptoed around the mansion to the kitchen. He snuck a few slices of different cakes and other sweets that he thought Deon could like out. He quickly ran to Deons room and woke him up.

,,Brother...? What is?",Deon asked in a sleepy voice while rubbing his eyes.

Cruel proudly displayed the things he stole - or as he said borrowed without a specific date when he would return them - in front of Deon. Deons eyes sparkeled as he saw what his brother got him. However he quickly gasped and had a worrisome look but before he could voice his concerns Cruel reassured him that he was allowed to eat them to his hearts content.

That night Deon and Cruel had a wonderful time and Cruel made a mental note to himself to bake a cake with Deon one day.

They never baked that cake.

Deon was an ordinary person in his mid 20s. He is an albino and has a bad relationship with his family-his parents and his brother.

However he needed money so he decided to become a streamer - a v-tuber - since he didnt want other people finding out about this.

Deon quickly became famous and loved by many people - he even had sponsors who constantly tried overbetting the others.

However his brother was Unbeknownst to Deon always his top sponsor - now the question is: how did Cruel,his brother, know about this?

The answer is simple: he tracked Deons actions down to ensure Deon didnt get involved with anything or anyone dangerous.

Since Deon had gotten quite a bit of money - enough for him - he noticed how lonely he was. So he hired some group named "the lofty knights". He hired them to keep him company (sidenote: i mean those types known in Japan-they get hired by people to hang out with them. I hope u all know what i mean bc i dont know how they are called) and those men did a good job. However one problem arose - they pitied Deon and also really liked him so they decided to keep him company and keep any dark thoughts away from Deon. Deon on the other hand just saw them as annoying men who didnt wanna leave him alone and wanted to bully him.

Sometimes these people were being heard during streams but Deon never said anything about them.

Now,who are the sponsors that I mentioned earlier? They are obviously the people with the nickname "the emperor","a quiet admirer","a hero" and "the demon king" - these were the ones who paid the most to Deon - but Deon or rather Arut had some more sponsors. Even though one user named "the duke" kept spamming and blackmailing him. That user claimed that his lover broke up with him after he started watching Aruts streams - Deon simply blocked him.

So why is Arut so famous?

He gives reviews of books and other works - no one can buy him off so he became a reliable source of many. He also plays games and he has a gives of a vibe of that captivates his audience.

He also sometimes makes events where he dresses like a cat boy or does dance - his face is obviously always hidden - and he also sometimes does the request of his highest paying sponsor. Most of the time its something like "eat three meals a day and give evidence that u ate it" or "go to a doctor to get a check up" - Deon hates it but his fans love seeing him doing just normal things like that.

But what about Deons privat life? Does he go to school?

The answer is: yes, our streamer goes to high school. One of his professors,Cavert, keeps trying to get Deon to talk with him - Deon hates him. There is also a green head that keeps trying to befriend him - but he is too cool for Deon and Deon is worried that he has an ulterior motive. But we also gotta mention the yellow headed professor (whats the emperors name again?) who tries to get Deon to stop taking Caverts classes. The two professors are acting like rivals which lead to many - lets just say "not very pleasant" rumours. Another professor with purple hair keeps trying to fail him.

However other than those people no one really brothers Deon - his brother just stares at him from a distance. Probably because the principal,a war veteran whos nickname is "the first hero", keeps calling Deon to his office and at parties some professors and him keep a special eye on Deon so he doesn't drink alcohol.

One day,when Cassius and Deon had a rather peaceful day, Cassius decided to ask Deon something.

,,are u afraid of death?"

This question sounded weird to Deon since no one has ever asked him this - or rather no one saw any reason to ask this.

,,are u afraid?",asked Deon after a while of silence

This was the only thing he could think of- he didnt want to answer since people will think he was weak and he also wanted to know why the hero asked him this

Cassius simply smiles bitterly at Deon - and Deon understood

Both couldnt answer the question properly but still answered in their own way
