Every time a character comments to Pharah about her mother I get so sad because Pharah is just done with everyone else getting more of her mother than she ever did

like damn she obviously looked up to her mom (whether she wanted to or not) but she never got to have any sort of close relationship with her like

Mercy: Your mother always wanted you to follow in her footsteps.

Pharah: She did? Funny she never mentioned that to me.

Soldier: 76: Your mother would’ve been proud of you.

Pharah: You didn’t know my mother very well, then.

Winston: Your mother was a hero to me. To all of us.

Pharah: You probably knew her better than me.

Like, her saying ‘you probably knew her better than me’ and then ‘you didn’t know her very well’ just says that the only relationship she has with her mother is one where her mom just doesn’t seem to be too fussed over Pharah’s life, or maybe one where Pharah’s actions never seemed to impress her mother or were never good enough

Listen i’m just really emotional about Pharah and I want her to know that I love her and she is good enough all on her own
