But things have been so busy and complicated that I have had no motivation and some anxiety attacks have not helped me. And I still had class yesterday, on a Saturday. At least I was able to take blood pressure, take blood from people's fingers and raise awareness about Yellow September.

I'm trying to write some things little by little, but I'm almost always getting dragged to do something else. 😔

Hi! So, I talked to my friend and she convinced me to write a Monstertober for October, since I already did Kinktober last year.

I'll submit my spiels on the latest chapter of TLQ on a couple days, but right now, I have one related to the kitten pajama comision (with a few tidbits of chapter 16 woven in).

I have really loved how you have explored the psychological implications of time travel, thus far, and this commission really highlights this. The fact that Reader's new life as Alexander's wife, traveling around in a military camp is becoming 'normal' to her is disturbing, but also realistic imo. I also noticed how the last chapter implied she has come to expect a certain level of luxury and comfort. I seriously think you have a natural talent for understanding how people think and react in unconventional situations. I'm really excited to see how she will adjust to being back in her own time. It won't be easy to readjust, but I'm sure you'll touch on that.

If you haven't already, I'd strongly recommend the novel Kindred by Octavia butler. It also deals with time travel and its psychological effects. It's really dark, but I know you love that kind of thing.

I've read several fanfics with time travel themes and, although I really liked them, many end up ignoring the psychological issues that would happen to a person irl. To be honest, I base a lot of Reader's feelings on how I would feel in a situation like that and it ends up being more explanatory because of that. I'm really glad you noticed! 💕🫰🏻

What is the difference between headcanon, scenario, imagine and blurb?

For me, because other people may interpret it differently, it's this:

Headcanon: something that is not canon (not official) but rather something that someone created from canon. Example: Ares vs Aphrodite Headcanons by an S/O.

Scenario: It's some kind of scene that you want to see. Example: scenario of how you met Zeus. Basically, an imagine but more specific and can be with several characters at the same time.

Imagine: a type of scenario that is usually longer and can be counted as a oneshot (something longer). Example: imagine you are pregnant with Poseido's child.

Blurb: It's a short description of anything, be it an imagine, a story, or even a movie. Example: a blurb of how would it be to the child of Hera.

I hope this helped and I'm not confused anymore lol. Unfortunately, I don't have the gift of explanation. 😔
