in a way, the 3 blanks left in order for ZERO+-ox to be a traditional unit are filled in by miku and the kagamines! though, that could always just be temporarily… who knows…

video games are momoko’s passion and are a crucial part of the plot (believe it or not, the presence of them as her passion determined the course of the story from the very start). a lot of more lighthearted events revolve around them in addition to the interpersonal relationships that make up what’s the core of arcade sekai.

technically, yes!! no ship will ever be truly confirmed as canon, but you’ll probably be able to tell my ship preferences as you read… in addition to the ones mentioned in the intro, you can expect about 5 more implied pairings (mostly amongst mcs and npcs).

yes, i am hoping to collaborate with others in the future! once things get going and i (hopefully) estabilish some kind of fanbase outside of tumblr and the discord server, i can work together with other oc creators on a more official level! this could possibly bring more attention to their projects as well, which would make me very happy — arcade sekai as a whole relies on the connection with communities!

i do have card concepts laid out, but none of the cards are actually finished yet! there’s a few steps that i need to get through before drawing them, such as studying the art style and such. ☆

forgive me for being gone for… what, 3 months? after being gone for 3 months? i really left everyone in the dark for half a year, huh…

2025 has been tough so far — i’ve been dealing with the worst case of a burnout i have ever experienced, paired with a ton of work to do… trying to update several blogs on the daily left me a little overwhelmed, so i retreated to focus on the project in private (honestly, i had no idea what more to post). ^_^;;

for now, i’ll focus on answering all the asks that have accumulated in the inbox! quizzes will also make a return, daily facts are put on hold until i think of what to include in them.

in a few days, i am finally getting my hands on a computer! (a laptop, but still a computer!) this means i can hopefully start developing the 2d models, provided i figure out how to pirate live2d cubism… help? anyone?? ;;;

as to using what engine will the actual vnovels be done on, i’m not quite sure. i was thinking ren’py, but if anyone has any alternatives, please let me know!

i’d appreciate any tips or prsk assets useful for recreating a sucessful catfish unit, actually.

mainsto is currently in writing process.

the backbone of the storyline is more or less laid out, with the plot stretching out for 3 arcs so far. i’m not quite sure what to do with the story then, but i’ll surely get an idea if there will be demand for a 4th arc.

the designs for the sekailoids and momoko are already done for both pre- and post- 3rd anniversary!

as for the music aspect, currently there’s 5 completed tracks to be used as background music (thank you mochi ♡) and a few lyric concepts for comm songs in my notes.

prsk doesn’t localize their voicelines for the en server, so a jpn voiced version of the vnovel is in consideration as an addition to the eng dub! help appreciated!

if anyone has any ideas as to what they would like to see in the arcade sekai / zerocon project (or they have something to offer or contribute), don’t hesitate to reach out! this is a passion project of mine that greatly relies on the connection with others!
