Everyday I wake up and grief the loss of Nix Hydra and the original The Arcana team.

This might be my most ambitious project yet! I’ve been working on it since February and it’s finally done! I tried to mimic The Arcana the best I could - I am amazed by that original style. It’s so beautiful and clean and Dana Rune, Nikolai Ladizinsky, and Veronica Lieske created so many illustrations that are decadent as a chocolate fountain. I also found the original font and altered it slightly to make it feel a smidge more stylistically cohesive.

I chose the Shadowlands camp as a setting since it seems like that tends to be the relationship solidifying set for a lot of these characters. Who’s your go-to choice?

Talking shit about the game that made you "popular", that brought creators on your shitty app (because you paid most of them actually, not because they were genuinetly interested on staying after trying it once or twice, i need to clarify) is a thing. Talking shit about THE FUCKING lifetime WORK of the old development team by screaming to the people how you offer fast-consuming capitalism is another.

You have a decent reach not because your creators' ideas are original.

But because they're making shitty money on characters and sprites they haven't designed, drawn or written, all because the original creators, in the reality of many artists and writers nowdays, found themselves in the difficult position of having to sell out their beloved story. A thing no one on Dorian will experience, because none of them ever spent sweat, blood and tears as much as a REAL game studio does. And that is what makes it better; passion, determination, attention to detail and time. And yes. If it's difficult to make, means it has to be worth it, as that will cut through all the trash content on the internet.

The absurd level of DISRESPECT towards the previous creators has made clear how much you care and will treat your own creators. You use their art, make money off their story, and this is how you thank them? By saying all they did (for you) is useless and unnecessary? By belittleing them? Well. Very convincing for bringing more people, huh?

And not only that. By your statements you're belitting everyone who has a real job as a game engineer, editor, and everyone who's behind the technicals that come with making a game. Which, hmm, let's see... Aren't they the ones in the backstage of your own app to be possible?

I liked the idea of a subtle parallel to Astarion's name, "little star."
