I was at church today with me family and I was reading ORV side stories, I'm not religious but i was also listening to what the pastor was saying....

And I was enlightened at the interesting similarities between Kim Dokja and Jesus like bro

Jesus sacrifices himself for his loved ones and so does Kim Dokja,

Jesus's resurrection, Kim Dokja dies and comes back to life so many times.

Jesus is a cool guy who's a storyteller and likes them and so does Kim Dokja in a way

Kim Dokja being Demon King of 'Salvation', the salvation is pretty much parallel to Jesus

Jesus is a son of the god, Kim Dokja is not a literal son of god but the soon to be Oldest dream.

They both are in a way self-less, always thinking of the others...

What I understand is that SingSong really did their research and wrote the story lovingly and carefully, like crafting a perfect masterpiece with every stroke having a meaning and foreshadowing, this story and the authors truly never fail to amaze me.

I understand him, I sleep at 12:30 sometimes at 1 (im reading orv lol )and wake up at 6 or 5:40 for an rarly morning walk no ppl are there

kdj is simultaneously a night owl and an early bird because he's awake at 6am and no one knows if it's because he's waking up or he hasn't slept and just crashes out every couple of hours throughout the day lmao

He's schrodinger's sleeper.

Someone will say they just talked to him and two minutes later he'll be found passed out in a chair fucking up his spine with the worst posture known to man before someone puts him on the couch/in bed

GUYSSSS IVE BEEN GOING THROUGH WEIRD THINGS, I feel like Kim Dokja is trying to tell me something cuz a few weeks ago, From the end of the feb to the start of thr march I was rereading orv and was on the epilogue volumex and since then IVE BEEN SEEING 49 EVERYWHERE LIKE AHVSJWHSIWBEBDBE WHAT IS THAT SUPPOSED TO MEAN?? WHAT KIND OF SIGN IS THIS, Like i see it in adds then I randomly look at my phone battery and it is 49 likeee whaaaaa????

Did this happen to anyone! Im going insane cuz i can count on my fingers and Ive since 49 likr idk 20 times by now,!!

I mean I already knew what 'tryst' meant but after reading this i let out the weirdest giggle, ....and the fact that HSY is also included makes me even more happy

You all know the item 'Midday Tryst' that Kim Dokja and Yoo Joonghyuk used to communicate right? '밀회' basically a secret love affair. It's funny to me that they are so bold to have a damn date in the middle of the day and called that 'secret'.

ORV READERS are so miserable and can't go out to touch the grass, when someone says they need therapy, they way 'ORV IS MY THERAPY!!! ;)' onto your face and then proceed to re-read the angst part of orv (which is like 80%) and overanalyze the heck out of angstiest scenes post it on social media and think 'yep, this will do!!' and go one with their day...

On the other hand, holy fxck you are so right, like yeah I can imagine YJH holding onto Kim Dokja, with his arms strongly wrapped around him, face in the crook of neck whispering apologies and regrets, obsidian eyes with no light he would mutter to himself for hours...the scene of his sword stabbing and penetrating Kim Dokja would replay again and again in his head until he has become numb to the pain...

The kids would stay by his side, crying and shouting for their parental figure, grabbing onto Kim Dokja's white coat wishing it wasn't dyed in red colour, wishing that the deep hole in chest would stop flowing out...

Lee Jihye would curse out expletives while crying loudly and shaking her master's shoulder as if to snap him out of his painful imagination...

It doesn't work so she shouts "Master! Tell me he'll come back! He can't die like this!"

"Please tell me, Ahjussi will come back?! Right??"

Lee Hyunsung and Jung Heewon would be sprawled on the ground, unable to feel their legs and arms out of exhaustion, their tear-stained faces clear and visible.

Lee Hyunsung's voice would go hoarse with the amount of crying it went through, voice reaching out for the man who wasn't with them anymore, the tears flowing uncontrollably, making no sign of stopping anytime sooner as he gazes at the body with no beating-heart

Jung Heewon's eyes shook with intensity, her screeches scratching her throat as she went crazy, a dreadful feeling pangs her heart and makes her cry out in anger and sadness which can't be measured...

A useless sword..... Her mind tells her that and she has no heart to disagree on that part

And they weren't able to save him... again...

Yoo Sangah plops down on the ground, head between her palms as her fingers twitches and grab the hair almost painfully, tears make her eyes blurry as she stares at the man in the white coat in Yoo Junghyuk's embrace, a soft whine comes out weakly like a helpless cry

Not moving and not breathing...

She had failed despite knowing the future...

She had failed to save the man from his death despite knowing that he was going to die! Oh, how useless she was despite having the knowledge of the future.

Han Sooyoung clenches her fist, and the dried up tears become wet again as the tears flow again, she denies the wetness streaming down her cheek and tries to ignore the painful stab in her heart... Why couldn't she see it coming?

She was a 'Writer' for fucks sake, what's the use of being a writer when she couldn't even see this coming?

Does that really think she has no feelings of her own?

Does he really think she's so heartless that she would lead everyone to kill him again?

Gong Pildu, Cho Youngran and Lee Seolhwa... even the people who don't know much about Kim Dokja lament and weep with the bitter pain seeping in their hearts

Because how much more fucked would it had been if his corpse was left.

Like he’s died before, Dokja has left corpses before and came back alive. The time limits have changed in the past and his revival has been delayed before.

How long do you think the company would’ve held onto his corpse? How long would they hold off on that funeral?

Or notice a difference when Dokja’s body went into rigor mortis?

Has his corpse went into rigor mortis before? Because if so they still may hold onto hope.

Would they wait for decomposition to start?

Would they set him up in the usual coffin and check in on it? You know, just in case?

How long would it take the others to get Dokja’s body out of Yoo Joonghyuk’s arms?
