LIVE: There’s a key vote on net neutrality and the whole Internet is watching

Starting at 10am ET today a key congressional committee will vote on the Save the Internet Act – the best bill we have to restore net neutrality.

Unfortunately Big Telecom shills on the House subcommittee voting today have already proposed dangerous amendments that could completely gut the bill or leave gaping loopholes for Internet providers to block, throttle, and charge Internet users new fees for access.

To get a clean bill that restores net neutrality passed need to show them the WHOLE INTERNET IS WATCHING.

Here are the best things you can do to help:

1. Reblog this post to spread the word. 📣

3. Call your lawmakers to demand they vote for a clean bill to restore net neutrality.

If we get the bill out of committee without any bad amendments, then we have a solid shot of winning the next big vote on the House floor in the week of April 8. Take a second to help out!

Original Character Art Commission Request

Hello~ Me and some friends are in the market for some art commissions of original characters created for our RWBY based DnD campaign. We are not wealthy, but can pool roughly $60 to $100 per art piece. Unfortunately all we have is text for the characters as we are writers not artists ourselves, but we would love to finally have visual representation of out beloved creations. If you need an example of what youre working with, the text posts on my tumblr are just a few of the characters we are trying to get brought to life. If you are interested, I would love to see a portfolio and prices can be negotiated, but it may take a little bit more time to save up some more. Thank you~!

Sibling number three, the youngest of the twelve, Rhosen

Name: Rhosen Bryant

Age: 17

Height: 5ft 2in

Weight: 100~lbs

Hair Color: Lime green

Eye Color: Emerald Green (Dark and Shimmery)

Weapon: a wooden sword

Semblance: Lady of the Green: This Semblance allows Rhosen to passively or actively increase the sentience of the plants around her. It passively increases the sentience over time, but if she activates it, she can speed along the process immensely. Sentient plants that she influences are beholden to her, and strive to assist her how they can.

Special: If Rhosen feels a special bond with someone, she can create (subconsciously or otherwise) a plant that inherits some of their Semblance traits as she views them.

Appearance: Rhosen can best be described as elfin in both appearance and stature but does not actually possess elven features. She stands no higher than five-foot-two but due to her slight build, she appears an inch or two taller at a glance. Her hair is shoulder-length and straight.

Personality: Rhosen is practically perpetually optimistic. Always smiling, laughing, and giving hugs to literally everyone. Even those not overly fond of physical contact. Refusing to let much keep her downtrodden for long, she can find the silver lining or positive side of almost any situation. Wherever she goes, there is a slight bounce to her step and a smile on her face.

Outfit: A forest green tunic and jeans, and sneakers of the same color scheme.

I'm just a dude on here and I doubt many will see this, however, I will be posting original character profiles from the RWBY Dungeons and Dragons campaign I am a part of and an original story I will be writing here in a few weeks.

Height: 5ft 6in

Weight: 150lbs

Hair Color: Forest Green

Eye-Color: Iridescent Green

Body Type: Graceful and Mature

Weapon: No Weapon at all. Is non-violent.

Semblance: Abundant Life. Exponentially increases the growth and size of plant life. If she wasn’t so kind, her ability instead would surge and increase the life of things meant to be in the world and eliminating that which should not.

Appearance: Demytr is average height, but seems to exude grace and maternal instinct in all that she does. Her mid-back length hair is naturally the color of vibrant foliage and her eyes glow with the vitality of Life. a warm, gentle green.

Personality: Maternal. She never raises her voice in anger, at most she will sound very disappointed and use your full name. Normally extremely comforting and nurturing.

Location/Occupation: Whereabouts Unknown

Female

Age:18

Height: 5ft 2in

Weight: 130lbs

Hair Color: Spun-Sunlight that grows brighter or dims depending on her mood.

Eye-Color: A gentle Amber

Body Type: Short and Stacked

Weapon: Semblance-Only Fighter

Semblance: Sunbolt. Shoots bolts/beams of concentrated Sunlight out of her body. Is very malleable but she hasn’t tried to shape it before.

Appearance: Aollo is short in stature and rather voluptuous with pixie-cut hair like Spun Sunlight. Her hair is very unique in that it changes brightness going from a gentle glow to stormy light or as bright as a large Flashlight depending on her mood. Due to the nature of her semblance, she is constantly emitting light passively. Always stands out in a crowd.

Personality: Sunny. Always Shines in whatever she is doing. Regardless of Activity. Very sociable and tries to make friends with everybody but will hold a grudge eternally if you treat her wrong.

Location/Occupation: Head of PR at the Schnee Manor
