Two little baau anims ft. shmilk and crepe! Shadow Milk isn’t with Crepe at every hour, instead checking in on them every now and then just to see if they’re still alive (and considering his deal). He usually appears by emerging from the shadows, including Crepe’s own

It was never Pure Vanilla's wish for Strawberry Crepe to live in fear. More than anything, he wanted them to experience the childhood they lost all those eons ago, and he tried to curate their life in the Vanilla Kingdom to be the best he could offer.
While Crepe would toil in their workshop or hover around Espresso and Black Raisin on some days, they'd find themself with the ancient king on others. They and Pure Vanilla would tend to flora in the garden, read books in the library, care for the sheep, and end the day under the stars. Pure Vanilla would listen as they babbled about their wafflebot blueprints, and in turn, Crepe would listen to Pure Vanilla as he read to them at bedtime.
It was certainly different for Crepe. At first, it was boring and pointless to them. Over time however, the tough shell they'd made for themself gradually softened, even though they didn't know it. Complaints and whines about hugging turned into sheepish pouts and clingy arms. Brash rejections of empathy became quiet, tender admissions. Apathy turned into secretive care and concern; and those feelings of concern grew appropriate when the Vanillian air began to shift.
The prodigy felt that something was going on with Pure Vanilla. His smiles were weaker some days than others, there was melancholy hidden in his loving gaze, and he would confide in Raisin when they were alone. But when Crepe wanted to prod into the issue, they were always reassured that everything would be alright. Even if times were admittedly tough, the last thing Pure Vanilla and the others wanted was to burden a child with the despairs of a grown up.
