presenting the final prototype for our @ukagakadreamteam ghost jam 2020 submission: it’s no other than your friend and boy Hop! what are ghosts? ghosts are desktop buddies with functions that can get pretty sophisticated, but for the most part they talk to you, and in return, are able to be interacted with!

our hop is a little friend that comes in two beautiful shells (skins), with dress-up options as well as neat conversation features. 

this project is merely a proof of concept for something that will continued to be developed over time; but if you’re interested, the download link for his first prototype release is under the cut! more about suggestions, bug reports, and all that other good stuff is down there as well~

What happened

uhhh in terms of this blog, nothing! things are piloting just as normal, save for the fact that i’ve not been updating as often as i could be if this blog was my no.1 priority. i haven’t abandoned this project to be clear as day, i really want to do a lot more with it! things have barely gotten off the ground! i just have a lot on my plate at the moment. 

this is a pass-time but i feel a bit sorry for not being able to provide as much content as i want to. i’d like to be able to do commissions to have some emergency money stashed up, but i can’t feasibly do that on top of existing owed art on top of posts for this blog on top of academic work. as mentioned in the comm post i reblogged, my priorities have completely shifted to accommodate for my terminally ill family member.

i initially read the last ask as condescending, but i’ll instead try to spin it as genuine concern from anon; and i’d like to thank everyone for their continued support for this blog even though it really… hasn’t delivered as much as i think it should to deserve a following. i don’t want to make any promises i can’t keep, but i also want to INSIST that this blog won’t die anytime soon; please wait for me y’all if you have the patience to- but if not i completely understand!

i’m floored and honored by the reception this blog has gotten in spite of its rocky start, and although i’ve been short on steam to draw lately, i’m still intent on getting to all those asks. look forward to more gym shenanigans soon! i read all the comments/tags on every post, and i appreciate them all so, so much.

for some reason, none of the posts made on this blog ever manage to show up properly in tags when i search them.. i know it may have something to do with this blog being less than a week old, but i have no idea how to fix this or how long it will take until it fixes itself... :( does anyone know anything about this?? i havent had this happen to old sideblogs before
