"War, honey." Life says softly as she approuches her, "Can you tell me what happened?"

"..." Life gulps down her pain, "It's ok to cry sweetie."

Holding on to her daughter. She won't let go. Won't let another child slip through her fingers. Never again.

"You're home." Life repeats softly, "We're in the living room, sweetheart. There's plants on every table. They're all in bloom sweetheart, because it's spring. This year I picked out the blue colored flowers. Columbines, sea holly's, and hyacinths."

Mother Life takes head of War's far away look. A sight she hates to see, but knows how to work with it.

"You're home sweetheart." Life continues to talk softly, "There's a pot of coffee in the kitchen, I always make a second pot in the afternoon because your father and Famine subsist on caffeine. Can you smell the coffee sweetheart? You got to pick which grounds we use today, I think it's your favorite."

Life creates a cube fidget in her hands, then fidgets with it for a moment to show that it is harmless.

Then slowly, she sets the cube in the middle of the distance between her and War, "There you go sweetheart."

When War sat down, Life so as well but more slowly. Not wanting to tower over her, "Alright. I am going to stay right here, I won't come closer. Not unless you ask me too."

She notes how War tangle her hand in her hair, "No one is going to hurt you, not while I'm here. Do you want a fidget toy, War?"
