Not Tia Woona and Starlight. So if you guys don’t care for Starlight, I’ll remove her from the story in a few updates. But you gotta let me know! :3 )

Whoops internet hates me

((Sorry about vanishing there. Again. But I just finished the moving process and we only now just got our internet back up. Just wanted to keep you all posted that I’m still around, don’t panic. :D ))

(There were a ton of errors in the original version of this page… sorry it took this long to get it out. And for any asking, no, the lack of Aether’s cutie mark is not an error. ;3 )

Tia: I-I... I don’t understand...

(Perhaps, it is time I finally aimed to finish the story I once began spinning those three years ago. But I cannot do it alone; upon logging in to find the heart-wrenching requests for this blogs return, I couldn’t say no. I couldn’t forsake the community that helped me grow my art and animation skills any longer. I needed to come home. However I cannot do it alone...)

(Over the course of the the last year, I have been very detached from the pony community, with the exception of a single project that I’m not permitted to expand on as of yet. I was struck by a bus known as LIFE and it made me forget what I once loved doing.)

(I have decided I am going to attempt to resume this series, but I fear I am not capable of maintaining a consistent schedule... at least, not alone. And so with this in mind, I reach out the the tumblr community, in search of a few talented vector artists and flash puppeteers who can help me. In an effort to raise the quality of the comic, its consistency, and to hold me accountable, i’m looking for an assistant or two to share the credit for this blog; nay, webcomic. If you’re interested, please send me a letter or submission with some of your vector experience!)

(At the moment, I can’t see myself reasonably reviving this webcomic in full. Not yet at least. However with the help of a few folks I am confident I can pull it off. Working full time makes it difficult to do everything myself, especially when my skill set in flash is as limited as it is.)

(EDIT: To be more specific, I’d love to get a vector artist or a puppet maker for flash, but if you have other talents to bring to the table I’d love to hear them. If you can make flash puppets though... you have my instant attention. ;) )

(Thank you all for reading, and I’ll do my best to keep everyone updated!! I’ll try to push a little more of a visual update soon, and in the near future I’d like to host a “return of Tia and Woona” livestream. Stay tuned my friends... I’ve missed you all.)

Yep, I'm still here!

(I know, I know, two weeks in and I already broke the update schedule. But I think in this situation I'm quite allowed and justified to miss a week.)

(In short, there were some major personal troubles on my end. For once, it wasn't me biting off too many projects. School hit me really hard, and some long term personal problems came back to haunt me. Long story short, I almost dropped out of school, got diagnosed with depression, and was completely drained of my creativity.) 

(The effects of this are still lasting, and it may take some time for me to fully figure this out and mentally recover. Yeah yeah, I know, suck it up. I could be preaching to the choir here for all I know. Everyone's got problems. Of course that doesn't mean we aren't allowed to take time to deal with them.)

(As such, do not expect an update this week. I might try to push *something* out if school permits and motivation holds up, otherwise I might do some text-based planning and questions for the followers. Believe it or not I actually *really* appreciate when people point out mistakes and/or plot-holes and inconsistencies. Just be kind and thoughtful about it.)

Are you going to introduce more characters or thats it?

(OH GOODNESS CERTAINLY NOT.)

(There's no way I'm going to introduce *more* characters to this story. At the most there will be one, but he's already been hinted to in the past, and currently he isn't a planned part of the story. I've already saturated this blog with enough "OC's" as it is. I really don't want to take the focus away from Luna and Tia if I can help it.)

(Also, sorry the update isn't out yet, flash was evil and a bunch of crash-related problems arose that have made me decide to save my work far more frequently from now on. Apparently flash doesn't like my new puppets as much as I do.)

(All the visuals for this blog are made in adobe flash, using something called flash puppets. These flash puppets allow for the manipulation and movement of limbs, expressions and other features across a single character. This is also what is used in the actual TV show, although with a combination of frame-by-frame animation. (Something I would like to add to this comic some day when I get a tablet.))

(The flash puppets used in this blog are not yet publicly available though because they aren't quite completed, or good enough for me to consider them release worthy. Some day I'll complete one for release. SOMEDAY.)

(WOOHOO. New puppets! And I think a *much* better quality update visually. The story is going to start picking up speed now that we've returned our attention to the castle, where Starlight's role is coming into play, along with Tia's revelation.)

(Side note: I must make an epicly dramatic front-facing shot for every single character in this story, at least once. I decree it a requirement.)

Glad you liked my filly rig. Just a little thing tho, the tint on the back leg is left on the default color, you should change its color to the character outline color instead.

(Oh goodness. Hello Minty Root, you brilliant person. o_o )

All of your puppets are absolutely amazing, and it's so nice of you to make them publicly available. (Words cannot express how surprised and happy I am that we've come so far, despite my inconsistencies.)

(Of course, now here's what you all are REALLY waiting to hear... what does this 1,000 followers milestone mean?)

(Well, several things. Having achieved this milestone, I am more motivated than ever to keep this blog alive, especially since I made a friend and follower out of someone at school, who has successfully been keeping me in check and thinking about this blog. CONSIDER THAT A SHOUT-OUT, FRIEND.)

Let's Celebrate!

(To celebrate the 1000 followers milestone, I'll be doing a lot of site redesign, along with a lot of graphical work. This will be over time though, so don't expect instant changes. I also might do a celebratory picture or two, like cast portraits and maybe a joke image. I'd like to try and produce some more less-serious not-necessarily-update content.)

(I'm terribly sorry to disappoint if any of you expected a followers picture, but creating puppets for so many ponies would be extremely difficult, and I'm already short on time with the CURRENT puppets I'm making for this weeks update.)

(Oh that brings me to another significant thing.)

The Frequency of Story Updates

(I have elected to release at least one image-based update per week, on Thursday evenings.)

(At least! This means I may do more, if I'm feeling particularly motivated or inspired. Just be warned that if the story plays out as planned, there will most certainly be a pause or two. Things are going to start escalating extremely quickly after this weeks update, and the situation for our characters is going to get a lot worse before it gets better.)

(The weekly updates is subject to change, and if it does change it'll be to include more updates per week.)

The Story as it is...

(I think it's about time I make something clear. This blog isn't entirely an ask blog anymore, but I'm still very much open to responses and including them in the story updates.)

(There's a lot in the story still that needs to be done, making this story bigger than I had initially intended. Thus the story arcs are now being put under an all-encompassing story name.)

(This name is The Time Turned Tale (Check out the new story map!))

(From here on the story behind Tia and Woona will be referred to as The Time Turned Tale, just to make it easier than just saying "the story." (Time Turned for short.) If you guys dislike that name feel free to speak up and suggest other names!)

(Whatever happens though I will likely start adjusting the website and blog to fit that a little more, while still trying to maintain the "ask-tia-and-woona" origin.)

Starlight almost looks like a ponified Princess Anna from Frozen, but it's probably just the braid and color scheme that reminds me of her

(Not gonna lie. When I first saw Frozen, Anna was my immediate favorite, but I had actually designed Starlight quite some time before Frozen even came out. I actually thought the same thing when I saw Anna, except the other way around.)

(Then one of my friends at school pointed out exactly what you just did. This is the not the first time they’ve been associated with each other. :P )
