Valdis said happily. She then looked at seth

“Looks like you’re getting a new roommate!”

Valdis spoke in a sing song tone

“Indra? Have you seen seph?” Valdis asked poking their head into indras bedroom

Valdis slowly placed the little fluff ball on indras hand.

Valdis quickly picked up the small puff ball

“Seph! Careful it’s a baby!”

“Indra? Have you seen seph?” Valdis asked poking their head into indras bedroom

Valdis stated pointing to the ground

Valdis ran outside, tugging Indra behind her, Valdis then heard what could only be expected as small little squeaks. Valdis immediately noticed a seph holding the cause of the squeaks.

“Indra? Have you seen seph?” Valdis asked poking their head into indras bedroom

Valdis grabbed Indra’s hand, a small smile formed from where the mask wasn’t covering their face

Just a short small snippet of it

Ash stepped out of their home, though they had to take another step back as some children came running past, giggling and clearly playing some sort of game of tag.

“Sorry Mister!” “Yeah sorry!” The two kids said briefly as they proceeded on with their game.

Another villager greeted them, a smile on their face, the past they dawned had slight markings around the eyes that seemed to resemble bags, though they mask itself seemed happy with a smile. “Good morning, Tues.”

Ash had the chance to actually shut their door now, Tues looked at her, “It’s 2 in the afternoon.. doing work late last night, I suppose?”

“Eh.. you know me, I just enjoy my sleep. Kará had to wake me up.” Ash gestured to the fluffy cumulus cat that purred and rubbed against her leg. She looked in the children’s direction and sighed, “Also do I look like a guy just because I cut my hair for once?”

“Heh, no.. those kids are just having fun.”

“Ugh… if you say so.” Ash said reluctantly.

Tues smiled a bit at their friend, “Come on Ash,, I like your new cut. How about we uh.. hang out where there aren’t as many chips running around?”

Ash hummed in thought, though a small smile started to form. “Mmh… sure.”

Indra picked up a small photograph, the glass was cracked, one person in the photo had what looked like a partial mask, with marks that somewhat represented bags around the eyes, and also a smile on their face, maybe a glee mask of sorts. He had short brown hair and light blue eyes in contrast to their slightly darker skin. Another had a mask that seemed to have a frown of sorts, but definitely wasn’t sad. Maybe.. annoyance or disgust of sorts, Indra couldn’t tell. The person had what seemed to be purple hair, light skin, and what seemed like gray eyes, though it was hard to tell as the short purple-haired individual seemed to be looking away a bit in the picture.

Indra frowned a bit and looked around, they hadn’t been in the ruins of the old village in a while… sometimes they forgot others lived there, at some point…

They huffed, everything’s fine.. they won’t get left alone, not again. Valdis is here, so is Seph… but than again, some people used to think that the masks given where a fortune for the person’s fate… no. They wouldn’t let theirs end in tragedy.

“Look..!” Valdis showed Indra the bite mark on their arm. They continued to sob like a baby.

Did you check on her?

“I’m trying to find her! She’s not responding, damnit-“ Indra was cut off as they heard a small yelp in the other room, along with Seph’s little growls.
