oh.. I didn't think there was anything left from my home planet..

[xe opens the box. there are multiple things inside. Viper takes each thing out gently.

one is a necklace, made of something akin to silver. it has two charms, a sun and a moon. the charms look to be made by someone who isn't an expert at metalwork, although by different people.

another thing is a book, written in Starian. it is presumably a story book, which is hinted at through the cover.

the third thing is a plush snake, clearly well loved. the snake seems to be based on Earth's ball python, specifically the banana morph.

a fourth thing is a small box with the words 'Kari & Sarin's Jewelry' written on the top.

a fifth thing is most likely a picture album. probably filled with pictures of Viper and bee's parents.

the sixth and final thing is a note, presumably written in a panic, as the writing is very messy.

the note says 'Viper, if you get this, we hope you're safe. something has happened and it doesn't seem like it can be fixed. if you're safe and off the planet, please don't try to come find us. it would be too late and it would only endanger you. we love you, little sunflower. - mum & mama'.]

[kit holds the plush snake, which xe remembers they called Bailey, to aer chest. bee sniffs, seeming to be crying. Viper leans against the wall behind xem, tucking kitself into the corner.]

yeah there's a ship! I could ask if we could get you if you'd like! and it wasn't common knowledge that people could get out apparently. Heracles and Orpheus had to be shown where the ship was.

hello! I'm Viper! uh. I was actually never in the city, I don't know how I got grouped up with the survivors. I just ended up on their ship?? somehow?? after disappearing from my ship?? I'm still trying to figure out how it happened.
