What sort of things do you and your ex-enemies do together?

The sort of things that friends do best? we talk? validate each other? I dunno.

Mostly we just battle it out in the ghost zone. I’ve realized that fighting is a really important part of ghost culture, and tbh can’t say that i dont enjoy it…

Do you make some gadgets yourself? If so, what are some things you have made?

Or… at least… I come up with the idea for them and my parents figure out how they would work. I am learning a lot though, and maybe sometime soon I’ll actually decipher how they figured all of this shit out lol

But back to something about the things that I’ve made.

This has proved really useful, especially when there’s ghosts that are way too large to stuff though one of my measly short-lived portals. (don’t worry – i still practice a lot, so this should be a temporary crutch hahaha)

Really, the whole fighting in the ghost zone is good for everyone though. No buildings get demolished, people are safe, and I get to take the ghosts back to a contained place…

Is there any reason why you're not on the market? Or are you just not looking for a relationship right now?

I’m closer than I have been in a long time, but I don’t think I’d feel comfortable committing to it yet. So no girlfriends for me :’(

So, you help smooth things out between ghosts and humans, and sometimes have to fight ghosts in the ghost zone, though right now everything is pretty chill. So then, what do you do in the lab? Create weapons? Build stuff? Test ghosts? Monitor them?

But that’s beside the point – what it means for now is that I’m my parent’s assistant. I help out when they’re testing inventions, offer ideas, run tests, watch the lab, make sure they eat regularly, get uncontaminated coffee, you know, typical intern jobs….

There are almost no invasive or nonconsensual tests anymore and we spend a lot of time studying history and culture of the Ghost Zone. There’s also the addition of ‘helpful’ inventions like core stabilizers and natural portal trackers.

Although… there are still some rogue ghosts who want to harm the human world, so the weaponized inventions aren’t all gone, but FentonWorks as a whole is much more peace-focused than it ever has been :)

how did you and your parents move past the fact that they used to shoot at you once they found out you're a ghost? love the blog!

And to be completely honest, I was always more afraid that they wouldn’t accept me or they wouldn’t be able to forgive themselves or look at me the same way– rather than upset about what they did… but none of that really happened so I was fine :)

I do know that Mom took it hardest, but I’m pretty sure that Dad did or said something that helped her let go. I know he did a lot for me.

What can I say?

Are there any ghosts you still have trouble talking to/ connecting with??

On a more serious note, I am more mature about how I treat everybody now. I can recognize when I’m having a really emotional reaction and get re-centered… 

I mean, they were banned from coming over a couple of years ago, but after they realized I was serious about this whole interspecies relationship deal they haven’t done much to break the rules - so I won't do anything even though personally, I'm not a fan.

But it’s really a case-by-case thing. It’s why FAIR helps so much. That way I have a set of predetermined rules and agreements that keep things pretty professional.

It looks like ur pretty lonely there when there is no Tucker and Sam are around. Any new friends tho?

Sam and Tuck are still my closest human friends, and though I do see them every once in a while, It’s pretty hard not being in close proximity.

Recently, when I get free time (which sadly isn’t that often…) I’ve been hanging with Skulker, Ember or Technus and getting into various shenanigans. They can actually  be pretty chill when they’re not trying to take over the world hahaha.

I also stop by and see Ghostwriter, Frostbite and Dora every once in a while when I’m feeling a little more mature or need to do politics stuff.

Hey guys!!!

I had a great Halloween last night kicking butt with Ember, so here are the highlights :)))

This time of year kind of riles everybody up and natural portals pop up everywhere, so I needed help with patrolling (and what’s halloween without some costumes??) Luckily nothing was too bad -all of the offenders were taken care of pretty easily and won’t be let back into the Human World until next year without major consequences lol.

Have you managed to like, gain any new ghost powers?

…Kind of like how the wail used to be. I dunno. I’m mostly just a lot better at control and power output now. I also have a few tricks up my sleeve regarding new uses of old powers. 

Gotta keep everyone on their toes hahaha.

But there you go, those are the ‘new’ ones.

Do you have like a layer in the ghost zone? Anyplace that you can hang and make sure that nobody gets into trouble?

And it’s true that any ghost who spends any time here knows that Amity Park is not actually my lair, it’s just easier to explain it that way to the more feral ghosts.

They really don’t want to mess with me.

but on to your question…

don’t quote me on it, but I think that it’s her master plan to come back to Amity Park and work at least part time with us here at FentonWorks. 

I mean, after the thesis she did on Ghost Envy in high school, she’s been pretty committed to researching the similarities and differences between human and ghost psychologies. So that’s pretty cool. Honestly, she hates to admit it but she’s just as much of a Fenton as any of us hahaha.

And don’t worry. She comes home like every other week. I couldn’t get rid of her if I tried lol

So...what's the sitch on ghost/human relations? Are the portals to the Ghost Zone regulated? Or do people and ghost just like...hang out together now

Not many ghosts ever make it to the human world - this was even more true before my parents and Vlad started making stable portals (which we monitor a lot more closely nowadays)  So the real issue was that they didn’t really know how to act here -

the FAIR agreement lets ghosts use their powers and visit the Human World as long as they don’t intentionally cause physical, mental, or financial harm to humans.

It’s not officially sanctioned or anything but it works for Amity Park and the surrounding areas, which is where the ghosts were causing the most issues anyway.
