btw it’s important to me that obi-wan calls cody ‘my dear’ even when their relationships is strictly platonic.

however i can’t decide if it’s funnier if to them this is just normal and when someone comments on it they’re just like. what? no? it’s a platonic nickname? obviously? Or, if they’re both very much aware it’s Not Platonic, but neither of them are quite ready to deal with That. so they just ignore it. obi-wan still calls cody ‘my dear’ though.
