Note
Will you ever come back on your France askblog? ,,]
Hello love ! ♡
As much as I love France and how much they have helped me with my studies and other people - I’m honestly not sure if I’m willing to run my ask blog during this time.
For the past months, the community has made me uncomfortable. They have disrespected me as a human being. They disrespected my friends. And they disrespected my character with xenophobic remarks. I don’t feel safe continuing on.
I really want to share interesting trivia, jokes and make diverse characters that everybody can relate to as people. I’ve met so many great people who have supported me and of various backgrounds and views. But it’s hard when no matter how many times I have tried to defend myself and other people of similar identities, no one is willing to listen. I know this is a bit overwhelming to read this but I feel like it’s fair that people should know why I am losing interest.
Perhaps I will return when I feel like the toxicity has calmed down because really, I do appreciate all of you. For now though, the answer seems like a no.

(There will be an actual commissions post in the future, however I really need money for a new laptop right now, as quickly as possible.
☆ ☆ ☆
Things I won’t draw are furries, mechas, NSFW, real people, gore, violence, anything I consider offensive or am uncomfortable with (which is generally not a lot), backgrounds, multiple characters (would take too long + I have to figure out prices first).
Things I will draw are original characters, animals, and fanart.
All payments happen via PayPal!
Please include a description of what you’d like when you commission me, including references for characters and outfits (the latter is your choice, otherwise I’ll draw what comes to my mind). In general: the more info, the better.
☆ ☆ ☆
Keep in mind that I’m free to reject whatever if I’m not comfortable with drawing. Please note that I am most familiar with Hetalia characters and OCs thus those are what I’m most comfortable with as well - if you want me to draw your OC, please provide decent references. Also: all chibis are drawn as full body!
If interested, please send me a PM or an e-mail at [email protected].
If you have any questions, please feel free to shoot me a message and I’ll get to reply to you as soon as possible.
☆ Please signal-boost even if you don’t want to/can’t commission me! ☆)

If you need help in Nice (you need a place to crash in, you’re looking for someone or you have info about someone…) follow the hashtags #Nice06 (seems there’s a lot of discussions on this one) or recherchenice  or  #portesouvertesnice on twitter. Be careful, there are videos of the attentat, please don’t click on them or share them…

July 14th 1789: Storming of the Bastille
On this day in 1789, French revolutionaries stormed the Bastille fortress in Paris. This event came towards the beginning of the French Revolution which led to the toppling of the monarchy and execution of King Louis XVI. The dramatic events at the Bastille were precipitated by the King’s refusal to approve the reorganisation of the Estates-General, a general assembly designed to represent the clergy, the nobles and the common people. In response to fears of a counter-attack by the King’s forces, revolutionaries planed to seize the weapons in the Bastille. The prison was lightly guarded and the revolutionaries were able to force their way through and the ensuing violence led to the surrender of the defenders. The Bastille was where the French monarchy held their opponents, including figures like the mysterious ‘Man in the Iron Mask’ from 1670 to 1703, and so the mob also released the seven prisoners held there. The Bastille had represented ironclad royal authority and its fall was a major turning point in the revolution. After the Bastille the revolution escalated, with the passage of the Declaration of the Rights of Man and abolition of feudalism in August. A republic was declared in 1792 and the King was beheaded in January of the next year. For its prominent role in the French Revolution, this day is commemorated in France as a public holiday, Bastille Day.
“Is this a revolt?” “No Majesty, this is a revolution” - supposed conversation between Louis XVI and adviser Duc de Liancourt after the storming of the Bastille

But why is the dauphin called a dauphin. Like, did they misunderstand what Wales meant and tried to copy the English?
Oh, your king’s oldest son is the Prince of Whales, well, ours is a fucking dolphin, piss off, have some tennis balls.
