Important Update

Greetings Everyone, I know I have not posted in a good year, and sadly this isn’t a “I have returned!” post. Well at least not for here. In case you are unaware, I moved my content to Twitter about a year ago and I just never posted the link here. Didn’t think I needed to as I always had the option to come back.

Well one thing led to another, I forgot to link anything, and now Tumblr is falling apart at the seems. As such, I will rectify a year long problem by linking you all to my current site of work:

As for Maple and company, I do plan on drawing them once again in the near future. However not going to post them here, as I am not going back to ask blogs due to my current commitments.

Ask Blog Beginner's Guide 101

Hey there! So.. you’re interested in making an ask blog or a daily blog? Well, you came to the right place!

How does one make an ask blog? Well, it’s simple.

First, find a character that you feel most comfortable with. For example, if you have an interest in Nidoran, then make a Nidoran OC!

Second, for the theme, if you’re starting out, maybe try simple first before you get into advanced stuff like custom buttons or html threading. Make sure you have a bio page and a rules so that people can see what makes your character tick without crossing any boundaries that will make you, the mun, uncomfortable.

Third, make yourself noticed by using the appropriate tags for certain fandoms. If your OC is fandomless, there are alternate tags just for that.

Forth, follow blogs. This is crucial. Interact and follow other ask blogs and there’s a huge chance that they’ll do the same. Don’t be afraid of interaction.

Fifth, pace yourself with the posts. If you get overwhelmed, please take breaks. If you’re pressured in rushing, walk away and calm yourself. These blogs are just for fun.

A good ask blog or a daily blog do not require stories to actually catch interest. Stories are optional.
