@askpimpimling and @questionthedompler recently welcomed a new baby and of course I had to commemorate the occasion with some fanart. It has been so much fun to watch this journey unfold! Congratulations!!! 🩷💛

what have you been doing to distract from labor pains? How far along are you?

Charlie has been dancing for me as a distraction-

Uhhh pretty far along..I

I have to go the contractions are getting worse

I heard you’re overdue pim, that’s rough…:(

It’s very rough :(

I’m trying really hard to think positively about the situation but to be honest, this is kinda scaring me

I’m a little worried

We’re trying anything we can to induce the baby- I’m just-

I’m worried that maybe she’s too big and that’s why she’s not coming out.

Pim nods, appreciative that she had wiped his eyes for him, he managed to let a couple of tears fall as she did this. He looks down at the food, and immediately starts to eat.

He tries not to be too fast with eating, but he’s so hungry he’s practically scarfing down the chorizo.

“Oh..” Pim’s lip wobbles suddenly, just hearing such sincere words come from Charlie’s mother..and knowing how much she loves and approves of him for her son well-

It makes Pim a little emotional.

“Thank you-” he wipes at his eyes to prevent himself from getting too teary. Hormones, he supposes.

“I’m glad I have Charlie and that we’re together. I’m also really glad to have you here, Mama. You’ve been such a good help and I’m not sure how to repay you for the things you do for me and the baby”

He’s been watching her cook, only able to move his head a little to peer at the kitchen. She’s doing all this work for him, without complaint or without making him feel like a burden. It’s something he’s never really experienced before with a maternal figure.

“Oh..” Pim’s lip wobbles suddenly, just hearing such sincere words come from Charlie’s mother..and knowing how much she loves and approves of him for her son well-

It makes Pim a little emotional.

“Thank you-” he wipes at his eyes to prevent himself from getting too teary. Hormones, he supposes.

“I’m glad I have Charlie and that we’re together. I’m also really glad to have you here, Mama. You’ve been such a good help and I’m not sure how to repay you for the things you do for me and the baby”

“Charlie has been wonderful throughout all of this. You raised such a great critter, Mama. I want to let you know that” Charlie was everything to Pim. He wasn’t sure where he’d be if they had never met.

“You’re right” Pim agrees, he knew Charlie. He knew Charlie better than anyone. So, he definitely knew Charlie was kinder than he let on. He had been so patient and sweet with Pim throughout all this; it was something Pim was grateful for everyday. To have such a loving partner.

“I get hungry all the time…and the cravings-” he sighs “I get real upset if I don’t get things I crave. I feel bad for poor Charlie…sometimes I get snappy. I don’t mean to do that” he frowns a little, remembering the many times he’s freaked out on Charlie because they ran out of pickles in the fridge and he really wanted pickles and peanut butter

What are some of the sweetest things Charlie has said or done for you during your pregnancy?

Oh my goodness where do I begin? He’s been so sweet during this whole journey!

He massages my feet for me and lets me wear his spare hoodies and he does most of the cooking now and always brings me stuff when I ask..

I know that may sound like the bare minimum but I think it’s really sweet.

He checks on me a lot to make sure everything is okay- sometimes he even tries to carry me! He’s such a strong critter! 🥰
