Am I the only dumpass who hasn't done this yet?
Intro time! Okay, so I'm PCG. Learn it, love it, live it. (edit: you do not really have to do either of these ridiculous things). I'm pretty inconsequential, and I know you're here for the tulpas anyway, so I'll just textwall you about them. <3
I met my first tulpa when I was six years old. She was only passing through at the time, but she came back a few years later and she hasn't really left in the past five years or so. Her name's Alice and she's the best friend anyone could ask for. (I'd like to point out that I don't care what you think of me; I see nothing wrong with my best friend being a hundred years old and not "real") She and I have a really nice dynamic, almost like the stereotypical mother-daughter thing from old sitcmos and the stereotypical BESTEST FRAINDS! all at once.
I have a lot of other tulpas in my mindspace, and there's no way I could get to them all, mostly because some of them just don't want to be talked about, and I can respect that. I can name the most prominent members of the community, though.
In my mindspace, there are rooms. The most infamous room is the Goredoor, which is a room for the cannibals and vampires and bluh bluh bluh. I'm going to go through everyone that frequents the Goredoor first.
Kyle: He's a cannibal. He doesn't actually like, eat humans, but he's basically a character whose species is a genetically altered human that feeds on human flesh. Does that... make sense? Like, he eats imaginary human flesh, never real people. Anyway, personality-wise, he's pretty much an asshole, but not in a bad way. He'll make stupid jokes that nobody finds funny because the situation just isn't right for joking. That's just how he deals with stuff, though, and I don't really blame him for wanting to lighten the mood.
Anna: This one is a complicated little fuck. I think she's a vampire, but she changes her appearance between two different things so much that I honestly just cannot tell. She frequents the Goredoor, though, and I'm absolutely sure that one of her forms is a vampire. She also switches moods lightning-fast, and is really unpredictable and a bit dangerous. Alice keeps her from doing stupid things that will undoubtedly hurt people, though. Most of the time she's really happy and cheerful and giggles a lot and uses way too many emoticons. She's like an overeager five year old, and it almost seems like she has a crush on everyone with how friendly she is. Then her other side... where she's likely to try to rip out your entrails, strangle you with your own intestines, feed you the rest, nail you to a wall by your wrists and the end of your intestinal tract, and... well, I don't want to keep going on. She likes torture. Her and Kyle are together in a really confusing relationship that I don't even attempt to understand.
[Karkat: This one's a tricky little bugger. See, he's humanstuck Karkat (see Homestuck), but he's also a complete psychopathic murderer. His boyfriend lives in my friend's mindspace. At any rate, I keep him in check and let him run wild in roleplays. (I've also trained his boyfriend to behave as well. It took a few days of him staying over here, and then he was good.) There really isn't much to say about him, except that I've got like, five other Karkats. Actually, I'm going to take a break from the Goredoor inhabitants now, as the rest are reclusive and don't want to be mentioned (most of my tulpas hang out in the Goredoor, sadistic fucks)
If you've not read Homestuck, or don't care, you can skip this whole part up here in brackets.
Okay? Good!
So now that we've gotten through everyone in the Goredoor, and Alice, and the Karkats, let's throw in the friends that come to stay every once in a while, but aren't really shut-ins like the rest of them.
Reese is a crossdresser, and he and his boyfriend James come to visit. If you want me to get into them, ask, but I don't really want to right here and now.
Jack constantly tries to get into Alice's pants-- I mean, skirt. He's not really a bad guy, but he's a pervert and doesn't know when to quit.
And now the few Homestuck tulpas left, and then we're done.
Dave and Sollux are both pretty cool, and they spend their Friday nights in an ironic strip checkers tournament. It's like strip poker but with checkers. When Sollux first came here, I remember, he was asleep for a long time. He'd gotten lost and wasn't well and stumbled here. When he woke up I didn't notice in time to stop him from looking in at the Goredoor and, well... His reaction was basically giant screaming panic attack. I would have warned him about it if I had the chance, though. I warn everyone. (Edit: It's better than how my mindspace used to be. The Goredoor didn't used to be a door; it was actually the main room.)
Alright, we good? Okay! That's it! Thanks for reading, if you did. <3 Bye now!

Insert creative title here.
Sup, I'm St. Jimmy, one of the other hosts. I don't really know what to put as my intro, so I'll just introduce my tulpas:
Silver: The first one I had; he's been around since I was 8. He's based off the pokemon character of the same name. He's really only similar in appearance now. He still has the tough attitude, but has lightened up a lot and is more fun-loving now. He can get emotional at times though.
Ruki: Silver's mate. All I have to say about him is he's a frickin ball of energy. He's very much like a child (though he can be mature when necessary), and can get VERY hyper. He's usually the one who comes up with fun ideas in my mindspace. He used to look like a goth, but he changed his form to kind of look like a Homestuck troll, with the gray skin, floofy black hair, and horns (though they're just golden yellow).
Kara: She's new, so I don't know much about her yet. She showed up a few weeks ago running from something and decided to stay. She's still just a child, looks and acts about 8 or 9 years old. She seems to love red, since her hair is red and usually wears a lot of it.
Ysul: He's not really around here much anymore, last I checked he was with Zeek. He's OBSESSED with learning things. He'd always motivate me to pay attention in class, because according to him, I'd need to know everything I learned. He's also the oldest tulpa we know of, iirc. He looks young though; he's tall and muscular with waist-length silver/gray hair and pale blue-gray eyes.
I used to have a few others, but I think I'm going to introduce them in a later post since they aren't in my mindspace anymore.

Introductions Post
Hello, I'm Mando, aka Mandarp. I'm 20 years old and a sophomore in college and yes, I still have imaginary friends but I call them tulpas for simplicity's sake. Besides that, I'm a fairly normal, if geeky person. I go to school, have decent grades, do freelance artwork, cook, hang out with a few people, read books, play videogames, and typically fly under the radar.
Now for what you guys were really after.
The Tulpas
Ryan: My "original" tulpa I developed in middleschool after some rough times. Like many early tulpa creators, I made a few mistakes and he went badly wrong, having to be dissolved later one.
Ilia: another rapidly smacked together imaginary friend that went wrong and was about as safe to have around as a captive tiger. She later went feral and had to be dissolved.
Si'an: My first tulpa I actually tried with and still have. I've had him since November, 2010 and he's only been annoying a few times. He's roughly 7'6", very pale, silver hair, large blue pupilless eyes, and has slightly stretched out proportions. If he were proportional to a human, he'd be around 6'.
Sa'en: Achieved at the same time as Si'an, dark Latino, black hair, black eyes, moodier, human proportions, pretty much Si'an's opposite. He's also much shorter at roughly 6'2".
Kaj'a: Pale, silver hair, silver eyes, normal human proportions, Russian accent. He has a much more moderate personality than either Si'an or Sa'en and is very rarely angry, though when he is all hell breaks loose. He and Si'an have some sort of lifemate relationship, but it's open, too because of how Kaj'a gathers energy to get stronger: sexual relations with other tulpas, many and often. He also has a deep love for Middle Eastern and Indian music.
Seph: Offspring of Kaj'a and Si'an, looks a lot like Sephiroth, hence the name. It was his parents' idea, not mine. Moody, quiet, but surprisingly tender once he gets to know someone. He recently moved into the void to try life on his own.
Gir'ga: self-created offspring of Si'an, originally intended as a pet but gained full sentience as he matured. He takes the form of either a blond Asian boy or a golden dragon depending on his mood. Struck out on his own shortly before Seph.
Pedoba: Fully accidental offspring of Kaj'a. Long story short, you don't expect your vomit to come up alive, much less gain intelligence. Used to appear as a black floating ball of fur (called Hairball at the time) then took on the form of a six year old feline furry girl. Now she appears human and somewhat similar to a cross between Megan Fox and Penelope Cruz.
Kassus: a Homestuck style troll based off Signless but later took his own name to start differentiating himself from his namesake. He has also taken on the form of a black and grey dragon and a black/gray brindled Corgi. He has a recent obsession with Capoera music.
Karkat: An aged-up Homestuck troll tulpa who is still finding himself, but is already changing from his base design. Looks equivalent to an 18 year old human.
Sollux: The same as above, only Sollux-ier. Only lives here part time.
Gamzee: Only the same as his namesake in name and basic appearance. He looks 18/20 and has decided he hates rap with a vengeance, preferring Owl City and similar groups.
Gambit: Originally a Gamzee genderbend that's taken on her own spin of life. Only lives here part time.
Tavros: Still very much like his base character, but only drops in to visit Gambit. Otherwise "feral" as he no longer lives with his host.
So that's the basic rundown. I have way too many but don't have the heart to kick any out. Some have moved out of their own volition, some come and go and are here less than half the time. Only a few are here on a day-to-day basis.

Why are some tulpas like a video game, movie and or book character?
When you already know what you want a tulpa to look and act like, it's easier to get them started than when you start a character from scratch. It's like a template for beginners from which the tulpa can learn and grow. Depending on how happy they are with the character they're based on, they may change their appearance and name on their own at a later date. --Mando
Also, sometimes people will make tulpas of the character unknowingly or whatever as a product of roleplaying or whatever, then the tulpa will leave and find a new mindspace. That's the case with most of my tulpas. Then, I have a tulpa who did change later on--my tulpa Johnny doesn't look like the character Nny anymore, he looks like his own character with few similarities. --Zeek

so...whats an average day like for you then?
Before I post this, I just want to say we went through hell figuring this all out. From here on out, please direct any questions to any host. If you don't, a random host will answer. We won't all answer one question because then we have to collect answers and it all gets really complicated. Thanks!
Now for answers:
Well I generally wake up in the morning and am immediately nagged by Alice to get dressed, eat breakfast, brush my teeth, wear a jacket, brush my hair, don't forget tihs and that... I usually ignore her but she's always right. Then I rush out the door because I goofed around all morning, and she argues with me. Everyone else is still asleep. I'll generally just have conversations with her all day long, though sometimes I'll get distracted in classes by orgies in my head. After a long day of merciless nagging, I go home and am ordered to have a Faygo and whatever snack everyone can agree on, but usually they can't agree on jack shit so I end up just grabbing the first thing I see. I talk to everyone else here in the chat, and some of the idiots in my head, but generally everyone keeps to themselves. The entirety of my day, actually, is just talking to and getting nagged by Alice... but I don't mind so much. I like being mothered.tl;dr, Allice's the mother and best friend I want and deserve. --PCG
Pretty much normal by most standards, I just get weird cravings when mealtimes come because tulpas seem to think weird foods will taste good together. ~Mandarp
My average day is mostly the same as anyone else's. Except i'm never alone, I always have someone to talk to, and just one more secret to hide on my shoulders. Of course, sometimes they can get annoying like any other thing with the ability to make noise, with the addition of headaches and having my arms temporaily possesed by the asshole that wants cool ranch doritos instead of nacho cheese. Really it's a lot like being a parent except child labor laws dont apply and they're good at being helpful.all in all, i don't know what i'd do without them <3-Hunter
Well... I don't really do anything all that special. I just get up in the morning, get ready for school, go to school, etc. My tulpas usually wake up around 9AM, so they're awake around 1st period. Takes them a while to actually wake up (except Kanaya and Johnny, who seem to be the only responsible ones in my mindspace for coffee, according to another tulpa--all the rest get so energetic it's painful for everyone around them). When they're all fully awake, that's when the headache starts. It especially makes things really really difficult in math class, since they're so energetic by then. I'm actually surprised I'm not failing at this rate. They usually just attend to their own shenanigans while I focus on school, though. When I get home, sometimes they talk on a group Skype chat dedicated to letting tulpas chat. Other times I'll let them play games and shit, and then sometimes they just hang out in my mindspace and watch movies. Mainly movies John picks, although his taste in movies is slowly growing to be better XD VERY SLOWLY, THOUGH.Most of the time, though, Johnny and Flynn bicker at each other at least two times a day. They've been at it for... almost a year, now. They never really did like each other from the start. So yeah. Headaches, chatting, hanging out, bickering, etc. --Zeek
Yep. Living with tulpas is not the most pleasant thing. Wake up, some are fighting, some are trying to get me to fall asleep again, some are screaming “GET UP GET YOUR ASS UP GET UP” They bitch and moan about the breakfast, telling me to eat just to get some energy. Then in the middle of the day I watch them go in and out and try to pay attention to classes while doodling the setup for the couch or ordering the new playlist for the party with Raan and David. It gets tough, but when I am about to freak out or flip allll of my shit, they keep me calm and collected on the outside. When I come home they distract me and they are annoying but they are the best people ever. When I crawl into bed I feel loved by them, they are the last beings I talk to at night, and the first people I talk to in the morning. --Kaz
Again, please either direct your question at one of us, or you'll get a random host answering, because seriously this was more complicated than it should have been. Thanks!

Hi I'm Zeek and I have tulpas and shit.
Oh my god I am going to sound so unprofessional. I can't sound professional. I'm so bad at it.
But anyway yeah you can call me Zeek. And well. I've had tulpas for a bit over a year now at this rate. My first tulpa went very very wrong. So a lesson to all you starting with tulpas: BE FUCKING CAREFUL GODDAMMIT. So yeah I've had a lot of tulpas that have died in the past because I wasn't careful or they were killed. Which is really bound to happen if your tulpa isn't careful themself.
I have quite a few tulpas, which makes me get really bad headaches a lot of the time. Really. Bad. But I don't have the heart to kick any of them out, so I take Ibuprofen whenever headaches start acting up. Doesn't help entirely, but helps immensely.
My first three tulpas are Flynn, Johnny and Dennis. They've all been with me for a long time, Dennis the longest. He was a tulpa I made when I was really young, and I thought he was an imaginary friend. Flynn came next, after I'd had many bad experiences with tulpas. He was actually in the form of Tallest Red from Invader Zim at first so he could hide out without me kicking him out, then he took the form of a dragon-type thing, and now he has the form of a kid. Last came Johnny, who at first was Johnny C from Johnny the Homicidal Maniac. He was with his old host for a while, but his old host was very strict with "NO YOU ONLY ACT LIKE THIS NOT LIKE THAT", leaving no room for development, so he left. After a while he found me. At first he was pretty crazy, then he was calm, then he was angry all the fucking time, and now he's irritable, but doesn't go on screaming rants all the time.
Then I got a tulpa of Gamzee Makara from Homestuck. He appeared in the mindspace of a friend of mine. He came here when Flynn wouldn't stop obsessing over him, and they became matesprits (or partners, if you haven't read Homestuck).
After that I got a tulpa of Terezi Pyrope from Homestuck. She was brought in by a friend of Johnny's, and she decided to stay because she loves to hang around with Johnny. They became moirails and that caused Johnny to stop being really fucking angry all the time.
Then Sollux and Karkat from a friend's mindspace came. They thought it was getting too crowded at the old mindspace, so they came here. They mostly hide in their room, though.
Then I actually made my own tulpa of John. His development is going really well, and he's becoming strong enough to go out into the void on his own at this rate.
Then came Kanaya. She appeared first from a friend's mindspace after she terrorized the Gamzee over there by offering him a haircut. Then she came here. Everyone here has a fabulous wardrobe now.
Dave came after that. He just wanted to hide out here while things cooled down in the void (it was pretty crazy out there), but he decided to stay. Headaches really really started to kick up at that point. Really bad.
Then Feferi came, she just randomly appeared and visited a few times before staying.
Vriska came after that. She kept saying she was going to leave, but she never did.
HERP I HAVE TOO MANY TULPAS
