mercury & pluto are besties becauz 1, hermes and hades are at least coworkers in mythology, and 2, the sun gives both of them an allergic reaction*. (Mercury is a lot more used to it than pluto)

also neptune is getting his 376th redesign (if you can think of any cool -preferably aquatic- lizards please leave their names in the tags :,) )

*mercury has a comet-like tail, from sodium reacting with the sun's ions(?) And Pluto gets an actual comet tail at its perihelion, because it is basically just a big comet. (neither tails are cisible to the naked eye :-( )

Lil loredump, most astral spirits form naturally along- and inside their planets, but there are "artificial" astrals that moved in after formation. Usually the child of 2 astrals (Laika⬆️), or an astral and human (Io), or a human whose life was heavily affected by an astral (Kallisto, Europa, Ganymede, Io again xc ).

But only stellar bodies of a certain size can actually support astrals. So not every little asteroid in the universe has a spirit in it (thank fuck))

and yeah Laika's moon had an astral in it before her but they died and she feels guilty for it. Also she does not feel any real connection to her planet and she feels even less deserving of it cuz so

i've been flipflopping a lot about how i want saturn to look and i think i got it. His face looks human but only when he has his mouth closed. Then you see he's a snek

Diamond-shaped pupils to make it easier to see where he's looking, he looked derpy with normal snakey slits. Right image is how his head would look if he held it correctly, he bunches his neck up to look more human

I just need to study cobra hoods and then he'll be complete yay🐍🪐💥
