yello, i’m going to be starting from scratch with drafts unless someone specifically asks to continue a thread.

on that note… consider this a starter call. they’ll probably short and s5ish until i can find raven’s voice again.

“ I’ll be fine. ” it comes sounding out like it’s more for herself than for echo and she swallows, shaking her head. she had only heard about what some of their friends had changed into and she hadn’t seen it firsthand until now until abby. she swallows roughly, her freshly wounded throat brushing against the metal of the collar that she’s been forced into. with a set of blurry, still drying eyes, raven looks up at her friend with a deep, resigned exhale. “ what do we do now? ”

“ what did they do to you? ” raven bites down on her bottom lip. it’s a dumb question, she knows that, but her worry outweighs the logical portion of her brain. her concern for him matters more than the throbbing at her neck, at the burns forming beyond the collar she’s been saddled with. she takes a moment to scan over his face, his wounds, and can’t help but wince at the sight.

“ are you sure that you’re okay? for this plan? ”
