Corona Virus and Yoga Classes 20/03/20
As the government recommend social distancing, and after much contemplation, i have decided for the next 12 weeks to offer online yoga classes or until we can socialise again
The classes can be paid for individually or a booked as a course.
This is for all of our health and to enable the NHS to cope with demand
I will be looking at the classes consisting of the following
Philosophy with suggested reading (while we are in lock down) 15 minutes
Asana The moving meditation. 35-60 minutes (depending on class experience)
Pranayama (breathing methods to calm the nervous system and mind) 15 minutes
Meditation to develop an new awareness of the self, far deeper than the western world promotes 5 minutes before Savasana
This will develop over the next few weeks and I hope it can give you some peace of mind, sooth your soul, an give you a really lovely yoga practice!

Lock down C19 -what can I offer you when I can't teach yoga
Hello dear yogis and friends
I wanted to make you aware that I may be able to offer you support in many ways not thought of, while i cant offer my yoga classes
This will also support me greatly in this challenging time.
I can offer Distant Reiki Healing, which can be a very calming soothing process.
I can also offer the sale and local delivery of yoga mats so you can practice at home, and bring it with you to the next class
I can offer Skype one to ones in Meditation/breathing methods to calm the mind or one to one yoga sessions

For the complete beginner
Understandably, a complete beginner can feel overwhelmed or intimidated by group yoga classes, and for this reason private instruction is a great place to start. Everyone is unique and requires different guidance and support in their yoga practice. If you are looking to get started and want to practice the basics in the safety of your own home then one to one lessons could be the best option.
It is advisable (if not imperative) to start your personal yoga practice with the guidance of a professional yoga instructor. Draw the teacher to you
If you have limited mobility, are rehabilitating after an illness, operation or disease or suffer from anxiety. Bringing the teacher to you while you build up strength can be invaluable. This is also a great option for pre or post natal yoga students. Often a physio suggests taking up yoga, however a trip to the yoga class may be impossible for some students for whatever reason. Being able to request the yoga teacher comes to you is a really wonderful opportunity to get involved in yoga from the security of your own home.
What to expect
Relax; there is no need to get prepared in advance. Everything will be organised for you, all you need to do is wear some loose fitting sports trousers and a comfortable top. All of the equipment that you require for your yoga lesson will be provided.
The initial consultation is £75 and thereafter we can arrange a block booking where were can create a practice that will evolve with you at your own pace.

  How does it work?
We offer an initial consultation where we visit your facility and decide on the practice space and package to suit your individual requirements.  Should you feel that this step is not necessary, you can book the class directly.  The first class is £75 and we offer bulk discounts for on-going classes.
