Whickber Street Writers: Temptations, a karaoke-themed Good Omens project!

A little while ago, the Whickber Street Writers Association set a prompt for our members: how would post-Final 15 Crowley take to a new karaoke bar opening in Soho? This was mostly thanks to some riffing on how Crowley would be sobbing Hozier songs, or twirling a feather boa around to Man, I Feel Like A Woman.

Inspired by this, each participating member created a story, which we've put together in a small collection. We've each added references to each other's fics, but each story can be read as a standalone and they don't all share the exact same plot/ending.

They're all rated from General - Teen and Up

A Definitive Conclusive Ending by @sakascal - Because a demon needs something to do - especially when he's miserable, Crowley has been hanging out at that new Karaoke bar 'Temptations' that's opened up on Whickber Street (after Maggie dragged him there one night). Aziraphale found him there and has been trying to talk to him. This is not going as well as he would like.

The Book of Love by @naturallyteal - Is this the real life? Is this just fantasy? Or: Teal’s version of a possible Happy Ending to the whole Karaoke Collaboration Conundrum.

With the original podcast about NG, I wanted more info before I decided. Sadly, now I have it. :-( He is clearly not at all the person he projected here and elsewhere, which breaks my heart.

But I feel there is a difference between this and JKR for future engagement.

With HP there was always stuff in the text that was off, and finding out about her made it clear those weren't innocent mistakes. (Anti-semetic goblins, happy slaves elves, Umbrige implied r*** to death, many more)

That was what made me want to disengage from the content, in addition to not providing money. Removing the artist didn't save the art.

With NG his works talk a talk he didn't walk. Here removing the artist leaves behind art I still love. I will not give him anymore money, but I still love the works. And of course GO is TPs as well.

Happy 1-year anniversary to my ber first Good Omens fanart 🎉

I still can’t believe it’s already been one year since i posted this first artwork, so i thought it was the perfect opportunity to do a redraw of it.

My style has changed a lot. 12 months back, i had no clue what i was doing with digital art.

Since then, so much had happened. I jumped right into that GO rabbit hole, found fantastic people in the fandom, read more fanfic than i’m willing to admit.

What I didn’t expect AT ALL was that my art was SEEN. By you wonderful people. Your encouragement and nice words and wonderful comments fed the brainrot, and I mean that in the most affectionate way. Thank you a lot for sticking with me❤️ Love y’all ❤️
