2022 FIBA Women's Basketball World Cup
I feel like if you’re already here, you probably already know what FIBA World Cup is…
Something about basketball 🏀, different countries competing 🌏, a trophy 🏆 ?
But all you really need to know is that

Lauren Jackson AO OLY is back!! It’s been 12 years since she played in the World Cup. You can read more about her comeback here (or honestly, just stay here, there’ll be lots more LJ to come).
You also probably need to know that it’s from 22 September to 1 October, and maybe you want to know it’s being held in Sydney?

This is mostly going to be WNBL and Aussie players in the WNBA (maybe Euroleague), but guess what? Women’s World Cup Australia 2022 starts in less than 30 hours!
Yeah, I really did come up with the fantastic idea that I should make an Aussie themed women’s hoops blog, and then waited until we had 30 hours till the start of World Cup.
