Had a little idea of Soundwave having (security) camera inspired eyes 😌 I think the idea goes pretty nice. Makes sense for him, accentuates that no he is not normal apparently, also is just cool imo. I’m still figuring out how it’d look but generally I feel okay about this concept so far 😛 and also how they’d work. I also haven’t thought that far, but I’m sure u guys could think of something

I love making designs for Soundwave it’s like drinking cold water to me 😌 this is just a sketch (wip) concept but I’ve been thinking about a cd player Soundwave for quite some time 🤔 tho I’ve settled for a cd player that I found that also works as a cassette/radio/media player (while still having that cd player look) so that I didn’t have to worry about how the cassettes would work 💿 I’m also still figuring out the colors but I’m generally sticking around his One and g1 design for it

Are you really a cassette carrier if you haven’t done a cassette spread‼️ Blaster could only wish upon a star to have as much cassettes as he does (which is probably three million little fellas at this point)

Really proud of this one btw… maybe I’ll draw up some cassette carrier hcs 🤔 nobody really talks about their biologies(?) unlike Seekers for example

It just happened to be that Starscream and Megatron were fighting about their combined efforts so Megatron blasted away the stress of it all 🤷 meanwhile the waves? They’re all good, just a house was too boring for them tho, so city it is

(Shattered Glass) I read about how Soundwave’s joints would lock up sometimes because of him being a mix of cybertronian and earth metals and I couldn’t stop thinking about it 😌 I also thought about how Starscream tried to get him to stop working for once in the comics; he really doesn’t take care of himself does he 🙄

Alas these are also from @knight-says-rollout! I really liked their analysis about Sg Soundwave 😛 disability in Transformers is really interesting! It also prompted me to think about how (atleast in IDW) Soundwave’s telepathy struggles— at the least to me, and my familiarity with mental disabilities, was reminiscent/like an allegory of a mental disability; ofc he grew to manage and even work with it but at base level he did often talk about how his ability stunted him (especially when he was younger) ; I have a lot more to say about this but that’s for another time, if anyone’s interested
