Amadeus eyed the vials in his hands in demented glee. Finally, he has what he wanted. “Thank you.” Amadeus purred in delight. He looked at the liquid. “It’s so beautiful.” He said in awe. Amadeus hummed. 

“What if someone say cooked in say a pastry?” He mused. “Or does it need to be drunk.” He asked thinking of the ways he will give it to Remi. it will only be a matter of time before Remi sees the light.

The fae smirked beneath his mask as he saw the wizard. Oliver was the perfect person to talk to-according to the grapevine. He would have done it himself-but he needed someone who has a professional. Amadeus sighed.

     when the other stepped forward, yejun took a step back quickly, eyes lost, directed at the ground. the words that came felt like stabs to his chest, and unaware to him, he was already shaking, eyes filled with unshed tears. an arranged marriage? how? why? for how long? was remi willing? he must have been, otherwise, wouldn’t he tell yejun? and where did the seelie fall in this — was he just a toy to be played with and discarded?

     "w-when? how long has it been?“ he asked, a part of him wished it was a new arrangement, that remi would still tell him on their next meeting. but another part of himself knew it wasn’t the truth, and feared that he had been lied to all along.

     "i- i’m not judging you, i don’t even know who you are —” the fae let out in a rush, tears falling down his cheeks, shining in the sunlight. he wanted to stop them, but he was so distraught, it felt impossible. “i… i will. i’ll talk to him — i - i didn’t know, i thought —” the words left his mouth one after another, breath let out in short, irregular gasps. a sob left his lips, and he raised his hand to muffle the sound. “i-i need to leave.”

Amadeus felt himself seething beneath his cool exterior. Why was this fae going backwards. They were in the same situation regardless. He doesn’t think whoever this fae was a malicious creature out to ruin his life. This is a horrible misunderstanding. 

“Two weeks.” He replied harsher then intended. “We met two weeks ago.” Amadeus looked away. “I don’t know how long the actual arrangement was. “ He looked away. “It was probably for my sorry excuse of father and Remi’s sorry excuse of a family benefit.” The laugh was sinsister and much bitter.

“That’s what they all say!” He said. “That’s what Remi was thinking too!” He raised his hands not caring if the other was crying. Amadeus was trying to hold his anger back. He stood in front of the other. “Don’t even bother, I’m leaving first.” He glared at the oher. “Tell how it goes.” He leaned into the other’s ears. “This isn’t over.” He whispered, walking backwards away.
