Bit of a bonus gift for one of the participants of the @avagiftexchange. This idea just smacked me across the face today, and I then proceeded to spend like 12 hours on it. As one does.

And let me tell you, I had a lot of fun drawing this!

Red and Purple was the first stick figure duo I really liked all the way back in 2021 cuz I thought the dynamic of a heart of gold befriending a snarky bastard was (and still is) peak

HELLO AND HAPPY NEW YEAR TO SPECIFICALLY @berryicet BECAUSE I GOT SICK FOR A WHILE AND COULDN’T FINISH IT EARLY… but here is your Mercs interaction! (with a victim cameo i guess they’re just there)

THIS IS MY SECOND MERCS DRAWING FOR A GIFT EXCHANGE! I drew the mercs last year too, so when I got your request, I was like, “Hey, it’d be pretty funny if I drew them a SECOND time just like last year for the funnies.”

This is more NY focused instead of Christmas focus because yeah, I finished this on NY Day. The Mercenaries are ringing in the New Year! A few explosions on the way as a little break from everything happening at work. And Agent got some new shades for New Years, too. They look stupid. Lmao.

(though this was the original sketch if i DID make it christmas focused but I already drew xmas art of them before so oh well here they are anyway)

But for the rest, at least for me

I still have 3 hours left before the end of Dec. 31st!

It's funny, as in life, I usually do everything at the last moment. ALWAYS. In this Secret Santa I made my gift much earlier, because then I wouldn't have had the opportunity to make it.

AvA Gift Exchange 2024

And at the back end of the week from the little procrastination machine I am, we have an order for... @toon-melody !!

Let's start off with nice little taste of Port and Dorado having some 'nice', 'cozy', 'quiet' winter night fun.... Port didn't seem the type for quiet.

On the topic of winter fun, my first thought was a bright competitive snowball fight, but I wanted to take it a different route and try on the other side of winter—the indoor kind.

And part two!!--

In search of references, I found myself falling in love with one character (boosted by my pre-existing love for Chosen) and suddenly I found myself opening Adobe Animate

So I present to you: way too much Lovebug!Chosen !!

But to be so real with you, Toon, I absolutely ADORE his color palette. It's a perfect mix of reds and pinks and browns that works better than any colors I've ever put together. It's vibrant without being overly saturated. I stand heavily impressed by this design, and I would not be surprised to find myself drawing him in the future

Now I can finally follow my giftee and spam likes on every post thanks
