"Matt Murdock in a love triangle" is actually a crime and so reductive to his character, they did not have Dex giving Matt fuck-me-eyes as Matt pulled his hair for that

They did not have Foggy haunting the narrative all season long and Matt kissing his card for that

We also did not have Matt attending a family barbeque with Jennifer's family for that

And Elektra is already planned to come back according to the showrunners and we know she'll literally burn NYC to the ground to get to Matt

Please that man is a whore, restricting him to a heteronormative love triangle is removing flavor from him and that cannot happen, writers be serious. We want to see that man have insane tension with everybody and anybody that moves

absolutely obsessed with the dynamic between Matt and Frank it's gotta be one of my favorite character dynamics of all time. Frank kills people as a hobby and Matt has never killed in his life. they can't have a conversation without cursing each other out. they trust each other enough to hold one another as they jump off a building. they physically fight more often than not. Frank has seen Matt's bare ass. they're both in love with the same woman who respects herself too much to hook up with either one of them. Matt is a Catholic who believes every soul can be saved except for his own and Frank doesn't think either of theirs needs to be. can anybody hear me is this thing on

Daredevil Born Again Theory:

****SPOILERS FOR EP 3****

With the death of Hector Ayala, devastating and yet slightly exciting as it could open the door for more known iterations of the character like Ava. This is just a personal theory for how to tie these characters together. More of wishful thinking than anything else.

I would absolutely love to have Ava Ayala in this season debut as seeking vengeance for her brother’s (Hector’s) death. We saw an individual with the punishers logo shoot White Tiger, and while we know from past experiences with Frank Castle that not only is this not his MO but it also fits narratively that it’s a cop using the punisher logo to exact their idea of justice onto Hector. So while I agree with other theories that Frank will return to deal with those who are misusing his ideologies and literally punish them, there’s another element in this story. The white tiger amulet. I’m hoping Ava will take up the amulet for vengeance, but instead of hunting dirty cops, she thinks Frank Castle truly killed her brother and hunts him. With both the police force and now an enraged White Tiger to deal with, Frank would reach out for Matt for help, or at least Karen. Now Matt would be faced with the choice to help a friend as Daredevil deal with someone who he failed as Matt Murdock. And I don’t agree with that, but I fully think Matt would blame himself for Hector’s death, and THAT I think even more so than Wilson Fisk would be enough for him to take up the mantle again. Realizing that he can fail people as both Matthew Murdock and as Daredevil to the extent that people die, but the balance of both of his lives is truly how he can help the most people.

Even if this ends without Ava partnering up with Daredevil as White Tiger, I really would like to see something like this. A clashing of Matt’s choices and past really forcing him into this fork in the road of either returning to the mask to deal with problems he would view himself as responsible for, or remaining as only an attorney at law, ignoring the blood that will inevitably flow, but also that the blood spilled would be from two people (Frank and Ava) that he holds a responsibility towards.

Regardless I’m excited to see where this story goes! Thanks for reading my rant, and please share your thoughts and hopes! I’m not very familiar with all the comic runs for these characters (mostly just watched their shows) and would love to learn more about them!
