What do we think Alcina’s go to punishment is for the girls when they misbehave? I don’t think she would ground them like restrict their hunting because let’s face it, if they can’t get their energy out hunting they’re going to drive her crazy. I also don’t think she’d be the type to take away favored objects. Maybe cleaning the cellar? Or reorganizing the library? lol

I don’t think the girls would understand parents being cruel to their children. Now hear me out, they can be sadistic yes but I don’t think they’re ever sadistic to each other. And their mother has never been sadistic to them. And I think they understand cruelty, they’re cruel to their victims. But being cruel to family? That’s something I don’t think they could wrap their head around.

Trial By Fire Sneak Peek

So, I’ve decided to branch out and try writing for a new fandom. Here’s a sneak peek into a new project featuring Alcina and a monster hunter.

Lydia stared into the fire, ignoring the large looming predator in the room for once in her life. “You won’t even allow me my penance?”

Alcina took a long drag from her cigarette, the taste doing little to settle her nerves. “From where I stand there is nothing you need to repent for.”

The flames in the fireplace flickered brightly, the light reflecting off Lydia’s skin with an eerie intensity. “I killed my mother.”

“You did. But I think you had little choice in the matter.” Alcina said, her voice softer than it had been any other time she had spoken to this human. This hunter, her mind supplied readily.

Lydia shrugged.“I had a choice. I could have let them kill you.”

Alcina stifled a scoff, depositing her ash in the tray as she sat in a nearby chair. “You could have let them try. Why didn’t you?”

“Because, for the first time in my life I couldn’t pretend.”

“Pretend?” Alcina asked, eyebrow cocked as she set her cigarette on the table, the end flickering.

“Pretend you were the mindless beasts they taught me you would be. That's all you are.”

Alcina frowned, her fang catching her bottom lip as she swallowed a growl. “Oh. And you killed her for that?”

Lydia shrugged again, eyes still caught by the dancing flame before her. “For a number of things. It’s their fault if I really think about it.”

There she was, the cocky little hunter that had stumbled into Alcina’s castle months ago. “For challenging you?”

“For making me believe I could be a hero,” Lydia said softly, her eyes finally moving from the fire to glance at Alcina in her peripheral vision. “They just never imagined who I’d try to save.”

Daughter of fantasy villains decides to rebel against her parents by actually going through with her arranged marriage to a local golden retriever of a prince instead of running off with some local villain-to-be or conquering said golden retriever’s kingdom and ruling it solo like her parents expect her to. Plus, sue her, she’s into the clean-cut earnest look.

At the same time, local prince charming discovers that he’s actually very into the gothic fiance his parents have landed him with in order to try and establish peace with the local evil lair down the lane, he would never have guessed a spiderweb pattern could look so fetching on a ball gown…?

Meanwhile, two pairs of parents in a tizzy because they both expected their offspring to whole-heartedly reject this union and give them an excuse to conquer their goody-two-shoes/evil neighbours, they’re not supposed to actually like each other-!

Should I also mention the oc is like….a witch of sorts that belongs to an ancient order? And is probably older than Alcina?

I wrote two 50k stories for a fandom that has like 6 people in it in the span of like 6 months. No, we are not.

Some fanfiction authors are actually insane, I started reading a fic those days with ~87k and only 8 chapters and the author promised more chapters soon and I'm just ... Do you guys sleep? Do you guys get a warm meal? Pls go to sleep.... I commented in every chapter but for the love of God take care of yourself!

i think i once wrote a 40k fanfic for a fandom i wasnt in entirely out of spite in about 2 weeks so. no. none of us are ok.

Looking For A Fic

I'm looking for a fic for Alcina/Reader or OC female character (i can't remember) where the reader goes to the castle to escape an abusive husband and ends up staying in the castle. If I'm remembering right it's like 5 chapters long with each chapter focusing on their relationship with the dimitrescu women. I can't seem to find it.
