Project Ghostlight: Private Nightmares keeps blowing my mind with each episode but this time what they did was truly spectacular.

The first part of the episode was just so goddamn good. They've played with space and movement before but this!?!? The change of camera position during Jade's scene, like we're the ones trapped in the box, Alex/Beast lurking in the background. The background sounds of a performance, occasional bursts of laughter under Gabe's conversation. The peek into how confusing the Beast can be with Eddie. The absolutely delicious scene with Katie, how the tone switched depending on whether we were in Katie's head or saw her with her ex-husband.

It's SO good. And with the season finale fast approaching I think this is a perfect time to give it a try if you haven't already or to rewatch all the episodes

Are child kindred a thing in VtM?

Because it feels like that's what's implied about Eddie's sire by what we've heard about him and his relationship to Eddie so far.

Eddie keeps mixing up his son and his sire when people ask him if he's seen the former.

He insisted (to both his wife? Ex? Co-parent and himself) that he only has one child - and the emphasis he put on that makes it feel like that's a thing he has to keep reminding himself.

We've established that his sire is bad at teaching but has an overall pleasant relationship with Eddie, and that Eddie so far has been a big support for his sire but also needs to make his sire feel needed going forward.

It just reads to me like Eddie got turned by a child, maybe to act as a guardian for them.

which is btw, an extremely high bar- but there’s no one else I can imagine breaking their own record of peak roleplaying, than aabria herself! this entire scene was a masterclass of storytelling-
