So not specifically here on tumblr, but I saw some things floating around about how its sad in a way that war is glorified and romanticized. And that kind of made me think, why is it bad? It used to be done way back when, why not anymore? Like, when the United States declared war and joined WWI people celebrated, so where's the issue now?
I have a few ideas, but I would like to know if there are any other, well informed inferences/educated guesses

The first thing my mind went to for biological warfare was, Genghis Khan. Many others in the following years in Europe did this as well, but Genghis Khan was the earliest documented
You, a postmodernist, naiive human: our hunter-gatherer ancestors lived in peace with eachother! war and violence are modern inventions perpetuated by the creation of hierarchy and capitalism!

To add on, a quick special, for like valentine's or something, could be one spouse spending more time at work or less time at home, and the other starts to get worried over the week and asks around to see what's bothering them. But they never figure it out.
Come valentine's day, the spouse recieves/gives a very meaningful or sentimental gift, and the wife says something about how its only a gift. It doesn't need to be a brand new car, the thought counts.
As an end of show gimmick, the one spouse mentions off-hand how they can't wait for their anniversary, and the other spouse overhears and dies a little inside
There really has to be another storyline between wife and husband besides infidelity right? Right?

@disasterhimbo look, I agree that shit is fucked up over there. I'll admit that perhaps something should be done. But, after 20 years and over 80 billion dollars down the drain, just for a week before the whole nation is under taliban rule, not to mention all the equipment and everything else that was left behind, I think it is no longer a matter of 'someone help us' but now it is a matter of 'what am I willing to put up with' as a local populace. If it really is that bad then you should do something about it. Its been tried twice now, 10 years for Russia and 20 years for the US. I think at this point either they don't want the changes or they simply were too reliant on external forces being there. You are your own country, is what my message is, and if there is any sort of pride in it, you should probably protect what you believe its ideals should be
This is out of the blue! I am Afghan and I am currently living in Afghanistan. Today (15 Aug 2021) the Taliban entered the capital city of Afghanistan which is Kabul. The government is going to change to an Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan. They ruled in Afghanistan for 5 years, 20 years ago. I've heard stories about them since I'm 19 and luckily was not yet born. And let me tell you the stories were terrifying, but they were just horror stories to me and I never thought that I'd be living under their regime, but here we are.
Let me tell you something shocking: girls can only study up to 6th grade. The future of female students in universities hasn't been decided yet. According to what I've heard they go from house to house and ask for girls and women (12 to 45 year olds) for marriage.
As they are just pieces of crap, I don't really believe that they'd let us have mobiles or use the internet. I really hope this isn't my last post in here! But if it is I want to let the world know of what they've done and what they're doing.
Don't forget us!

We tried giving you guys the tools, and knowledge and everything else, to keep things how they were. There is no reason for us to go back, and so we won't. At least, I believe we shouldn't

Louder with Crowder Show Notes on CDC/teachers’ unions’ corruption:
On Wednesday, the CDC’s second-in-command, Anne Schuchat, stepped down after emails revealed she colluded with the American Federation of Teachers to keep in-person schools closed. SOURCE: Kaiser Health News
Randi Weingarten, president of AFT, defended the organization’s lobbying efforts because apparently, the CDC asked for it. SOURCE: Twitter
The emails that broke the story also included CDC Director Rochelle Walensky, White House coronavirus testing coordinator Carole Johnson, and associate director of public engagement for the White House Will McIntee. SOURCE: NYPost
“Language suggestions” offered by the union were adopted nearly verbatim into the final text of the CDC document.
Federation of Teachers senior director Kelly Trautner argued for the inclusion of a line reading, “In the event of high community-transmission results from a new variant of SARS-CoV-2, a new update of these guidelines may be necessary.” SOURCE: NYPost, CDC/Wayback
And the CDC final document included the line, “It is possible that due to increased levels of community transmission resulting from a variant of SARS-CoV-2, mitigation strategies and school guidance may need to be updated to account for new evidence on risk of transmission and effectiveness of mitigation.”
This came about a week after Nancy Messonier, former head of the COVID-19 vaccine task force and 20-year CDC veteran, resigned from her position. SOURCE: Politico
Did she ruffle the wrong feathers? Messonier apparently clashed with Biden officials over decision-making.
Messonier was reassigned to the CDC’s incident management response team just one day before her department was set to decide whether or not to lift the pause on the Johnson & Johnson vaccine.
The only explanation Messonier gave for her departure was, “My family and I have determined that now is the best time for me to transition to a new phase of my career.” SOURCE: NYTimes
Look at the data from the CDC on transmission rates in school-age children. SOURCE: CDC
Less than 10% of COVID cases have been among kids ages 5-17.
And the CDC wrote on March 9, 2021, a YEAR after most schools were shuttered: SOURCE: CDC
“Based on the data available, in-person learning in schools has not been associated with substantial community transmission.”
“Though outbreaks do occur in school settings, multiple studies have shown that transmission within school settings is typically lower than – or at least similar to – levels of community transmission, when prevention strategies are in place in schools.”
Keeping schools closed has had a dramatic negative impact on kids. Virtual learning caused: SOURCE: NCBI, NCBI, USAToday
Increased anxiety and depression
Increased suicides
Lower grades and higher failure rates
Grade and high school teachers are overwhelmingly liberal.
A 2017 EdWeek study found 40% of educators self-identified as Democrat, compared to just 29% Republican. SOURCE: Edweek
50% voted for Hillary in 2016, compared to just 27% who voted for Trump.
Teachers’ unions are one of the top 10 political donation organizations of ALL time, giving over $55K, 100% to Democrats. SOURCE: Open Secrets
And this year, the American Federation of Teachers PAC has given $1.6 million to congressional candidates for the 2022 elections. SOURCE: Roll Call
$1 million of this went to House Majority PAC, a super PAC that boosts Democratic candidates.
Democrats also more often vote to allocate more money to public education spending. SOURCE: ABC, Edweek
But student outcomes have NOT improved, since throwing money at issues doesn’t fix them! SOURCE: Edweek
From 1970-2013, school spending nearly TRIPLED, from $57k to $160k
Tumblr media
And student test scores have no clear correlation with increased funding. SOURCE: Mackinac Center
But teachers’ salaries and benefits HAVE improved, since 80% of spending goes towards salaries and benefits. SOURCE: DetroitNews, Edweek
Teacher salaries have increased from $11k in 1979 to $51k in 2009. SOURCE: USanDiego

Yes but specifically makes the situation political, instead of arrested for violence and crimes they made it a political thing. Specifically they called here a 'Maga rioter' because that is more accurate than her just being a violent person in general
