Going along the road wearing a Barbie top and I get a message from Vinted that the Beatles top I favourites has now been sold.

And my brain supplied me with the idea of a top with dour archetypal Barbies on the abbey road zebra crossing with The Barbies or The Barbles in the Apple Beatles font above.

Anyway that's probably a copyright nightmare but I would pay a decent amount of money for it if someone came out with that.

Okay first I was going to post about how DS Winter is in a budget Christmas movie that was on telly today.

But I've just found out through IMDB he was in Captain America!? He is credited as "Army Heckler".

So I'm gonna have to find him in that, now.

I also would have seen him in Silk, George Gently, Call The Midwife, and Suffragette but I don't recognise him by face.

Because even though anyone could potentially stumble upon this evidence of batshittery, the timing of it being shared, if anything came back from me sharing it, would be traced back to me which would be traced back to my uncle.

PIP IS NOT AN OUT OF WORK BENEFIT.

Please, if you see people claim it is - if you see people say "Good, get them into work" in reply to the news they are changing the elligibility so that less people qualify for it, PLEASE just help disabled people by replying that PIP isn't an out of work benefit, it is a benefit to meet the extra costs of being disabled. Awarenes on disability and benefits being left to chronically sick and disabled people means not only are we a speck of dust going up against a very large brick wall, but when we speak, nobody fucking listens cos they think we're all lying and just want to live off benefits.

PIP not only CAN be claimed by disabled people who work, but a lot of people use it so they CAN work. PIP is related to motability (also, not a free car like poeple like to say), access arrangements, care arrangements, carer tickets, bus passes, transport discounts. If they want disabled people into work, they need to be able to pay for these things because they are EXTRA costs on top of what wages (or ESA or UC) would pay for. If they are working and not on an out of work benefit like ESA, they also have to pay for medications, dental care and optician appointments. If they lose PIP, they will lose access to these other things, and how will they go to work then? If PIP pays for carers to get them washed and dressed, are people supposed to go to work without being washed and dressed? If PIP pays for a wheelchair (Only a limited range are available on the NHS), and they can't walk, are they meant to just subsist in bed? But they'll lose their carers so nobody's coming to give them a meal every few hours....

The average disabled person has an extra £800-£1200 to cover a MONTH, and PIP doesn't even cover it.

PIP has a fraud rate of so low it's not even 1%. Tax avoidance costs the government so much more it would fix the NHS if they fought for it and used it where it was needed. Government spending on useless things (Unusable PPE) and failed projects (Concentration camp yacht Bibby Stockholm) have lost the government a lot more than PIP fraud.

And to bring this point home. I've only survived this long because I've been on PIP all this time, on top of ESA.

There's no sugar coating this, people will die. If they don't die of their conditions worsening due trying to make it work somehow, they'll die of starvation or cold exposure or lack of medication. And if they end up losing their homes because their in rent arrears, they'll die on the streets.

Through the crime of being disabled or sick.

So I need to figure out if I want to just use the free version that is part of my email - and risk losing access to files when the internet goes off.

Or download Open Office or Libre Office and go like it's 2006 with multiple copies of the document across different computers.
