He was quiet a moment, not too sure what to say to keep the conversation going.

"So, uh. You nervous about the big game?"

"Messing up?" Joey looked around the room and shrugged," I like the floor space as is, we can share."

Seemed like Ichinose wanted to anyway, he'd already mentioned it a few times. But even if Joey misread the vibes there'd be no harm done either way.

"Sooo... what are you nervous about then? Gotta be something."

" It could use some work," Joey laughed. "Nah, I'm just kidding. You sound fine."

There was no argument, in fact, Joey was in the taxi before he thought to question the door being opened for him. Though he did question the motive for pampering. It didn't happen often, if at all.

"Sheesh, do I look that bad?" Joey chuckled. " I just work a lot."

Almost everday, actually. But Joey had made time to see Ichi.

"You smell better than I do, that's for sure. Gotta be some pricey cologne."

As for dating...

"Not really, I mean. I guess I hook up sometimes but I'd be lying if I said I knew any of those guy's names."

"Joey? This might sound strange but ah... Could I... Have some of your energy? I haven't had a successful hunt all week."

"My energy. Sure, I guess?"

Joey fails to admit he's hardly slept the passed few days.

Joey's cheeks warmed as their hands touched. He was starting to suspect that maybe Ichinose was coming onto him but he didn't want to assume anything and make it awkward. It was better to test the waters. He slipped his hand out from underneath Ichi's and placed it in top, a friendly smile on his face.

"Yeah?" He questioned, lightly patting Ichi's hand now. "Thanks, glad we're friends too."
