I was the only person under about 30 (I’m 15) at the launch of the book Base Nature (third in the Headland series by Ged Gillmore, I do recommend it) and I was standing near the front whilst Ged gave his speech. He was trying to promote reading in general and asked everyone to raise their hand if they looked at a screen too often. Everyone’s hand goes up, of course. Then he asked to raise a hand if you read a book too often. My hand was the only one that went up. To all the adults who say children spend too much time on screens and not enough time reading, I bet you do the same. 

That was meant to be a funny story but it turned out to be a story with a message oops.
