hobie's working there for extra cash and miles comes in to get his nose pierced and he has those grey sony headphones covered in hand-drawn graffiti stickers and hobie bluescreens a little bit

and then he finds out that miles can draw. like rlly draw. he double majors in visual arts and graphic design and ofc hobie falls for him a little more bcs he loves him a smart cookie. and THEN they realise they're going to the same school??

gwen knows pav and hobie's friends with pav, ofc miles is friends with gwen; they all attend this arts college in New Brooklyn, gwen does ballet and pav bharatanatyam, hobie’s actually a goddamn violin prodigy majoring in classical music even though he prefers his guitar... anw he probably puts in a good word and gets miles an apprenticeship with their resident tattoo artist

he gets a proper piece from miles once miles is confident enough but he's already covered in tiny doodle tattoos bcs he lets miles practice on him and throughout all this.

I’m writing a PunkFlower fic, and I can’t decide on wether it should be one chapter or multiple.

Basically, it’s about Hobie trying to prove to his friends that he and Miles aren’t dating (but they secretly are.) his friends give numerous examples to back up their claims, and after each, it cuts back to Hobie and Miles actually doing the thing they described. So it looks like: present character giving description, what they described actually happening, present description, it actually happening. This repeats like several times. Each description and event are about 1,000 word long.

I’m worried that a multiple chapter fic might look intimidating to people who just want to read something light, but I think it could be better for the integrity of the fic. On the other hand, a oneshot is more convenient and less intimidating, but might be hard to follow.

What do you guys think?

I guess I have to say this but I’m not trying to dictate Hobie age??? I’m team who the f cares. You seem him as 19/20 who’s a big brother to the other spiders? Cool! You see him as 16/17 rebel teen amazing! My concern comes from accusations.

Obviously with the release of the new movie comes a wave of new/redisgned ships(Punkflower/Punkchai/Ghostflower/ect) Because of the ambiguity of Spiderpunks age I’ve seen people start calling ships with him in it proshippers and that punkflower is proship which I think is gross and unfair. This like those characters type where they obviously look or act one age type. I don’t think it’s fair that people who may hc is younger and ship him with Miles or Pavtir are being called pedos. Now if his ages comes out and he’s older than though obviously those ships should stop but right now I don’t seen anything wrong. Especially to my knowledge Spiderpunk is also a ship from the comic( not a proship either)

We have two conflicting sources. Mr.Powers called him 19-20 but it seemed in the context of early design. However he said to as a statement. Some dms with Mr.Lord have been shown saying he didn’t know the ages and that age guess were hc. However that could have been response to the og and dms aren’t definitive

TLDR: I’m not trying to dictate Hobie age. I just hate seeing ppl being called pedos on such unsoild bases. Unless I’m missing something shipping him with someone from the Spiderband isn’t proship. I feel like with discourse we get dip into homophobia and stereotypes :(
