Ultra Magnus’s little side things on his helmet, finials? Idk, giant pillars that make him look like a rabbit?definitely. Now hear me out, imagine if they could move like how everyone thinks Optimus’s can move, but he hasn’t done it in so long because he’s meant to be the intimidating enforcer, or he simply disabled the ability to do it because it was too expressive, imagine he suddenly does it again after so long because he experiences an emotion that was so gut wrenching/suffocatingly strong, and it startles literally everyone around him because it just sounds like pure stone/metal rubbing against eachother

(I said stone because my immediate first thought was the rock sliding sound effect)

Nobody even knew this was something he could do!! So to see it (and hear it for the poor mechs 7 rooms away) would be a mix of terrifying and…oddly wholesome? Like not in a “aww he’s cute” kinda way just more of a “this supposedly immortal intimidating law enforcer is actually capable of feeling intense emotions and that makes him seem very human (mech? Idk what’s the cybertronian term for humane)” kinda wholesome…

This has been on my mind for months now and I just HAD to get it out, before the fog takes me and I forget….

I’m surprised at option 3 being the choice! I’ll make sure to edit my latest LARGE post and from now on have parentheses/side tangents being separated by a line from now on! Perhaps in the future if I gain more traction/attention I’ll ask again to see if the opinion changes, but for now I’ll do option 3 :)

Quick question, I ramble a lot on this blog and I have a tendency to go on huge side tangents in the middle of my rambles, I tend to (use parentheses like this ((and even this inside parentheses for side side tangents)) to typically show when a side tangent starts) but I’ve noticed that my side tangents can be difficult to differentiate from the general ramble because of how long the text wall can get, and I don’t wanna confuse you guys! As someone who’s disabled and struggles with stuff like this I wanna make my works as legible for you as possible! So here’s a few ways I’ve come up with that may help differentiate a side tangent from the main text

Option 1: color coding!

Example: text (this is a side tangent ((this is a side-side tangent)) this is a side tangent) text

Option 2: italics

Example: text (this is a side tangent ((this is a side-side tangent)) this is a side tangent) text

Option 3: separated entirely

Idk I just feel like talking about this, I’ve seen it a few times now as fics, but tbh… I don’t think minimus would be into pet play. IM JUST SAYING haven’t the beastformers been trying to make it known that they’re more than their animal alts? I mean of course there’s gonna be a few horndogs in the bunch who are gonna be into that and wanna play into their animal-ness (is that a word?), but I just don’t think minimus is one of those guys I guess… especially with what happened to his brother OUP… I feel like he would even be terrified of even giving someone the slightest idea that he’s okay with being seen as a pet/animal, I don’t think he would mind a select few knowing he has a beast alt but anything that plays into the role of actually being a turbofox would be such a big no for him 💔

That one recent minimegs trend where minimus gets “stuck” in parts of the armor and Megatron has to help him out but he actually IS getting genuinely stuck and the reason it happens so frequently is because minimus is overworking himself and overclocking his systems, so the load-bearing ability sometimes doesn’t function as intended when disconnecting from/connecting to the armor.

(the latches/things that connect him to the armor ((whatever it is I’m not creative enough)) not unlatching/retracting even after multiple commands from him, maybe a malfunction that causes part of his body to expand/shift a little and press against the inside of the armor and thus holding him in place)

(It might also just be that Minimus is getting old. Let the old man rest he’s gonna hurt himself if he keeps trying to do the same amount of work he was able to effortlessly do when he was young 💔)

Of course the last thing he would ever do is admit he is overworking himself (he loves his homework and can’t get enough of it the poor guy) and just gives some sort of shallow doesn’t-actually-explain reason as to why this is happening often (Minimus isn’t the best at lying), Megatron would always be willing to assist but can’t help but wonder what is really happening, it would be Rodimus who would bring up the idea that minimus was doing it for Megatrons attention and care

(cuz he 100% is the self proclaimed wingman in their slowburn romance ((neither of them have asked him for this)) whether he says it as a joke or genuinely is up to you cuz honestly I wouldn’t put it past him to do both)

Idk maybe after a while of this Megatron either (gently) demands what is actually happening and Minimus has to admit he’s not been taking proper care of himself, or something really bad actually happens to minimus

(you could do so much with this, armor locking up and just shutting down randomly, minimus attempting to take a 30 minute power nap and accidentally sleeps through one or multiple shifts which would cause multiple people to panic because minimus NEVER misses a work shift ((god imagine if he just goes into a stasis sleep which has an indefinite wake up time and he wakes up in the infirmary after being forcefully woken up because THATS NOT NORMAL, I’m sorry I’m way too angst/whump brained I love to see Minimus hurt and Megatron struggling/stressed about it)) stuff like that)

and Megatron is there to help his SIC realize he can’t do this anymore and he’s not required to take on a workload of 7 mechs at once, happy ending wowwww yayy

I wanted to share my ideas on this small trend that’s been happening recently

(I’ve seen a few artworks and like 2 fics on it ((the fics are less recent)) )

and I always noticed that Minimus is doing it on purpose to gain Megatrons help/attention, it’s very humorous but tbh I always wanted to see an alternate version where minimus actually DID get stuck and has to very awkwardly ask for help from someone (megatronnn) to help him out of it, idk why I just think I wanna see a change in tone

(I also get really bad secondhand embarrassment and someone getting caught in a lie is something that causes that to flare up really bad 😭)

Actually now that I think about it why did I write it as it being a frequent occurrence, it would also work if it just happened a single time and Megatron having to unstuck him can be very intimate/awkward at the same time

It would’ve given the same effect FUUUUUCK

Why is there so much stereotypical pregnancy in the transformers fandom, like I don’t really MIND the pregnancy trope but when it’s just 1:1 with human pregnancy…THATS SO BORING!!! Can’t you guys be a little more creative than that they’re literally ALIEN ROBOTS.

I would literally prefer any kind of creative pregnancy over generic human pregnancy for robots, like there HAS to be a more interesting way to show pregnancy in transformers besides a stomach bump (how is that even possible with beings made completely outta metal 🫩) and having it come out the ykw 💔
