Do you think Lydia Martin, the sophomore, the one who sat waiting for her star of the lacrosse team boyfriend in the hospital lobby, would have ever dreamed that she’d one day be riding in the jeep with the babbling, goofy, buzzcut boy in front of her?

Do you think she ever imagined she’d soon be intertwined into his life? That she’d be best friends with his best friend? That she would be in his room… laying on his bed… as they worked together to figure things out, each of them encouraging one and another and bringing out each other’s strengths and making them know how special they truly are.

Do you think she imagined that the boy would become her best friend when it felt like she had no one left? No one left who cared about her, no one who listened to her and believed her, despite how crazy she seemed.

Do you think she imagined that the boy would willingly and gladly give up his life in order to save hers because he wouldn’t want to live in a world without her?

Do you think she imagined how much she would grow to rely on this boy, that he would be the one she would run to for comfort when she felt completely helpless and alone in this bizarre world that she was thrown into?

Do you think she imagined that he would be the one in her life who knew her better than anyone else ever has and ever could?

Do you think she imagined how he would be the one who made her realize she didn’t have to hide her intelligence but she should be proud of it because it was one of the many things that made her extraordinary?

Do you think she imagined that he would be the one who helped her become her true self, helped her not hide who she was anymore, that he would be the one who saved her life time after time, literally and figuratively.

Do you think she imagined how important he would become to her and how losing him would feel like someone ripped her heart right out of her body? That she would feel like she was missing a huge, irreplaceable part of herself?

Do you think she imagined how completely, hopelessly and utterly in love she would fall for Stiles Stilinski on that day in sophomore year when she was just a girl hiding herself away and putting up walls while this boy, this dorky, excited, boy stood in front of her babbling on and on about unspoken connections?

Because I don’t think anything could have prepared her for this life consuming love and the boy that changed her entire world.

I predicted this before the season 5 finale. Wow

I feel like season 6 for stiles is gonna be kinda like season 5 for Lydia. I think he’s gonna get kidnapped or something of that nature or he’s gonna be in danger and it’s gonna be Lydia’s job to save/protect him. OR it will just be stydia “partners in crime” action
