Anon: Well, I can’t believe I’m doing this. It’s taken me a long time to get up the courage to submit my own photo, not only because I don’t like my body size very much, but also because I am baring two things I am very ashamed of. You seem really nice though and I think it’s time I learn to love my body. 

The first thing I’m ashamed about is my stretch marks. About six months ago stretch marks suddenly appeared covering a large area of my stomach. I hate them and try to keep them as hidden as possible. I really admire girls who can wear their stretch marks proudly as a sign of growth… unfortunetly I am not anywhere near that stage yet. The second shame of mine are my self harm scars. Most of them like the ones on my thighs have faded enough that the few people who see that area don’t notice them, which is good. The newer ones are on my arm. No one, not even my best friend has seen these, until now. These scars are a huge source of shame for me; a sign of my own weakness. Please don’t judge me for them. One day I hope to learn to see these scars as a sign of how far I’ve come, and never inflict them on myself again.

Note: I am proud of you, anon!! Sure, you may not be exactly where you want to be quite yet. But I can see that you are well on your way to being there. Just submitting this photo is a huge step! I for on think you are positively gorgeous and can’t wait for the day when you see it too~
