It's with a heavy but hopeful heart that I watch Palestinian families fundraise on here, slowly accumulating the precious little money to go around that they need to survive. However, not everyone is so lucky. A lot of Palestinians that have not had that kind of luck, that did not get early verification, that did not get massive platforms behind them from large bloggers, have approached me in my inbox, asking me kindly to do what I can for them. It kills me that I have so little to give myself, but I've seen this platform collectively raise enough to change someone's life. I've made a list of Palestinian fundraisers that are extremely low on funds, in the hope that drawing attention to people who have not been lucky at all can help turn that luck around. I know most of us can't possibly give enough to get all of these families safe in one go. But please, reblog this list. Pick one or two fundraisers, give what you can, and then keep track of it. Slowly, collectively, we can make a difference in these people's lives. My sweetest and dearest Marygold! 🌼 If ya want to know more about her please keep on reading :]

One of my favorite n oldest ocs of mine!!!! Her name is Marygold, she's 16 and a bit reckless, but a sweetheart all throughout. She's not a yaelokre oc, she's just wearing her mask (these are not her normal clothes) instead of letting her ears out :] , however soon I hope to post about the ones I've been creating with @musefromspace ...

In her story her hare/bunny aspect is kind of a reference to the religious motif of the three hares that are in sacred sites all across the world! (Paraphrasing:)

Through her life she goes through a lot of treachery and rebirth. She lets go quite easily, it seems, although she never fully forgets and most of the things that cause her pain often come to bite her right back in the ass after being pushed aside. The boat in which she travels from peace to pain is not sailed by her own force and smarts, but by the inevitability of affliction. All that said, she's trying to learn how to appreciate the intricacies within herself, how to take care of them and shes gaining an understanding of the ways of the land n sea :]

She knows a hell of a lot about mushrooms and collects them from the "forest" outside of Hyacinths' (my other OC and kind of her father figures') lybrary! She has two very close friends: Aster and Agatha.

She adores the theatre, but specially Shakespearean plays! Her favorite is Much Ado About Nothing. She much prefers the comedies.

Get to know me!

-Basic information-

My name's Robin (or Victor!!, I love this name but nobody calls me Victor anymore, it upsets me 🌝), I use he/him and if I were to describe myself shortly I would say I'm an old ladyman who loves the calmer bits of life and will turn into a more lovable being when given a cup of tea.

-What I will share-

My art mostly! This strongly correlates with my interests, although sometimes it's just boring study. Therefore...

-My interests-

So, currently my brains rotting over animal crossing, however, there's a long list to go.

The three columns on which my brain stands are history, theatre, fashion and art, often combined. Heavy on fashion history, since I dream of one day working on theatre costuming in historical plays (to me that's anywhere before the 70s, but my favorite eras in fashion are the ones between 1860-1935~).

My favorite painters and plastic artists of all time would have to be Sorolla, Mucha, Schiele, Sargent and Millais. I adore the Pre-Raphaelites :3

My favorite playwrights, writers and poets are Lorca, Miguel Hernández, Bequer, Mary Shelley and Kropotkin (sometimes, other times he leaves me half satisfied sadly). My favorite play is Bodas de Sangre by Lorca. Perhaps you can begin to tell that I'm Spanish hehe

On the more pop culture side of things:

I love wwdits; ofmd; good omens (about the Neil thing, yep, screw him, I'm here for the gays and historical costuming); Gotham; Yaelokre; anything old school vkei, I'm extremely basic my favorite band will forever be malice mizer; lolita fashion, specially gothic lolita; 80s counterculture; Adventure time, bonnibel and I are the same being except for the dictator thing🌝; Over the Garden Wall; Gilmore Girls, I've watched it 7 times+random episodes, help aaaaand that's about it!

-Extra facts-

💐My favorite flowers are lilies of the valley and popies.

🎞️ My favorite movies have always been, since I was tiny weenie Cabaret (1972), Ponyo, Totoro and Princess Mononoke. But I also love Little Miss Sunshine, The Cabinet of Doctor Caligari, Bright Young Things and any movie Conrad Veidt starred in.

🎂My birthday is the 18th of Novemeber

🍇 My favorite color is purple. Specifically dark, blueish purple.

🖼️ My favorite place on earth is the Sorolla Museum.

📽️ One of my favorite shows is Celia, which is based off of the book series of another writer whom I love Elena Fortún!!
