heres my tepid take slash rant on the devil wears prada and please bear in mind i took a melatonin and a drowsy antihistamine like an hour or 2 ago so coherence is not promised. ok... i think andy's friends could have been more delicate about it but personally if i had a friend who was working like craaaazy overtime for a controlling and abusive boss and she had completely changed herself for said job to the point where she's ditching her boyfriend's birthday and dinner with her dad and then like emotionally cheated on her boyfriend and then while they were literally breaking up with each other she got called away and she's textually getting paid like shit well i'll be honest . there is only do much you can do for someone who refuses to help themself. i would drop her ass too and i think i would be equally as blunt about it! i know that's the point of the movie and it resolves by the end etc but damn imagine giving more of a fuck ab what ur boss thinks of u vs like your best friend of 16 years i cant deal with the like ohhh her friends are pieces of shit they don't support her.... uhh yeah because she has like fucking stockholm syndrome and doesn't gaf about any of them anymore. what do u want her friends to do host a fucking intervention??? be serious
