Gross!  It  was  a  simple  dare,  really.  Kiss  frogs.  This  was  going  to  make  her  sick  real  quick,  she'd  heard  about  licking  certain  frogs  gave  you  some  serious  side  effects.  A  dare  was  a  dare  though,  and  thus  she  set  out  to  find  frogs  to  kiss,  thankfully  it  would  be  under  the  cover  of  the  forest,  somewhere  not  too  many  people  would  see,  or  so  she  hoped.  Though  she  was  probably  being  followed  by  at  least  one  person  to  film  the  dare  and  put  it  up  for  the  watchers  to  see,  right?  

Finally  she  found  a  pond,  the  perfect  place  to  hunt  frogs.  One  after  the  other  she  kissed  each  frog  she  got  her  hands  on,  each  time  feeling  sicker  than  the  last.  This  was  probably  the  grossest  thing  she'd  ever  done.

Hours  went  on  as  she  kissed  frong  after  frogs  until  finally  she  had  enough,  she  felt  sick  to  her  stomach  and  she  doubled  over  and  vomitted,  a  miserable  groan  leaving  her  lips.  She'd  done  it  though,  finished  her  dare  and  that  was  all  that  mattered  at  the  moment.

Various  people  wizzed  by  them  and  Aracdia  watched  each  as  they  passed.  Another  ball,  this  time  for  Ben's  birthday.  Royals  loved  to  throw  balls  whenever  they  could.  Something  that  came  almost  second  nature  to  them  so  she'd  never  thought  twice  about  why.  Turning  her  head  towards  Harry  she  hummed  in  agreement.  Balls  had  never  really  been  her  thing,  just  another  dress  she'd  probably  never  wear  again  collecting  dust  in  her  closet.  A  waste  of  fabric.  

"Yeah,  Auradon  loves  to  go  all  out  for  their  balls...  Though,  I  do  suppose  this  was  is  a  speical  occasion."  A  pause,  knowing  the  explination  could  be  a  long  and  boring  one,  one  she  didn't  really  want  to  get  into  as  much  as  she  figured  he  would  want  to  hear  it.  "Ben's  birthday  party.  The  king's  birthday,  that's  why  it's  a  big  deal."

For  most  it  wouldn't  be,  they  could  stay  out  as  late  as  they  wanted,  but  for  Arcadia?  It  was  a  full  moon  and  she  had  to  get  back  before  she  turned.  "Normally  it  isn't."She  offered,  an  uneasy  smile  sitting  on  her  lips.  "But  I'm  so  swamped  with  homework....I  really  should  just  get  back."  While  she'd  love  to  stay  and  find  out  more  about  Maddy  she  really  should  be  going.  

"We  can  take  a  rain  check?"She  offered,  gathering  her  stuff  together.  "I  really  would  like  to  speak  to  you  again."A  more  sincere  smile  is  flashed  as  her  this  time,  it  was  a  truth  in  between  the  reason  she  couldn't  stay  longer.  "It'll  be  great,  you  can  pick  the  place."

That  shouldn't  be  too  hard,  should  it?  Her  mother  would  probably  kill  her  if  she  found  out  but  hopefully  she  could  just  apologize  after  the  dare  was  done,  just  say  she  was  having  a  bad  day  or  something  of  the  sort.  Head  titled  ever  so  slightly  as  she  moved  down  the  hall.  Maybe  no  one  would  talk  to  her  and  things  would  be  fine.  She  froze  when  she  heard  someone  call  her  name,  turned  to  face  whoever  it  was  that  was  speaking.  "Yeah?"She  asked  finally.  Just  for  the  girl  to  compliment  her  shoes.  "Yeah,  well,  you  have  a  bad  dye  job."  She  said  simply,  turning  on  her  heel  and  heading  in  the  other  direction.

Time is a thick putty in your hands. It sticks to your hands, it pulls your joints down, it sticks to the roof of your mouth. Who are you? You're not quite sure. Disoriented and out of touch, it all happened so fast, right? You were a kid. Playing games and having your mother brush your hair before bed, making up imaginary games to play by yourself in your bedroom, seeing your thoughts come to life before your eyes. Now you're grown up and you can't remember the colour of your imaginary friend's t-shirt. You forgot the lyrics to the song you made up. It all happened so fast. Don't worry. It happens.
