FREE PALESTINE MASTERPOST 2024
A new collection of all the Palestine-related posts I've reblogged. I'll move them to the second blog after a time just to keep this blog streamlined, but this post will serve as a permanent archive. Keep the pressure on and do NOT stop talking about this. (See the 2023 edition here.)
January 2024
-"i don't want my existence to be like this. i don't want to be a "concept" or part of "what came before". i don't want to be a part of a mueseum. i don't want to be an ancient exhibit, i don't want people abusing my "dead" culture, i don't want to be a relic, a person without a land, a person without a home."
-"When possible, refer to "Israel" as "Occupied Palestine", "the Israeli occupation" or "the Israeli Colonial Project". In Arabic people simply say "the occupation" or "the occupation forces" The one thing Israelis seek above all else is legitimacy. Deny it them."
-A breakdown of the genocide case
-"Gaza we see you" (Graffiti in Los Angeles)
"Why the fuck do my taxes pay for Israeli healthcare and Palestinian genocide" (Poster in Seattle)
-A full stadium in Egypt chants in solidarity with Palestine
-"The occupation army is forcing residents of the central region to move to the city of Rafah, south of the Gaza Strip. Knowing that the city of Rafah can only accommodate 250,000 people, and now there are 1,300,000 people, I do not know where we will go next."
-"Eighty per cent of the people, or four out of five people, in famine or a catastrophic type of hunger are in Gaza right now."
-Protest calendar
-Links to the Word Food Programme and Palestine Children's Relief Fund
-"Gaza is now flooded thanks to Israel shutting down the sewage system. We are witnessing yet another phase of this genocide. Starvation, infection, and diseases."
-BDS calls for an official boycott of McDonald's
-"Harrowing" testimony from an IDF soldier on the treatment of Palestinian prisoners
-Palestinian flag drawn with symbolic Samoan motifs
-"Israel Is Terrified the World Court Will Decide It's Committing Genocide" (article)
-Gifs of several protests that took place the first week of 2024
-Sulala Animal Rescue's request for aid
-Analysis of South Africa's "very impressive" case
-"the world will remember that it was the global south that held israel accountable, NOT the west, not the “civilised” nations, not any country that deems itself the “first world”, it was south africa who finally said ENOUGH."
-France and Jordan airdrop aid to Gaza (and a reblog contains the email contact form for the White House)
-The ICC opens a portal for reports of Israeli war crimes
-Link to 2700 free books on Israel and Palestine
-"Videotaping this crime spree is the best idea we ever had."
-Actors read South Africa's case file charging Israel with genocide (because Western media wouldn't)
-Another boost of eSims for Gaza
-"Your lesser evil president is bombing civilian cities in Yemen, because Yemenis stopped ships... without hurting anyone. If you still defend him now you're as genocidal white supremacist as he is"
-The campaign to renew Our Flag Means Death uses some... choice phrasing in expressing how other fundraising efforts (such as sending humanitarian aid to real people in Gaza) would "leech" from their own campaign's momentum. Priorities!
-Petition to reinstate a Palestinian artist's US exhibition
-"100 days ago my father and sister were still alive"
-An interview confirming how little the Zionist occupation actually knew. The poster writes, "After almost 4 months of this, they have not identified a single location where a Qassam fighter could be. Which means that every single Palestinian they've killed up to this point, all 30 000+, every one of those 10 000+ children, was a deliberate attack knowing they're targetting civilians and civilians only."
-Links for donations and contacting representatives
-A protest for Palestine in Cairo. One Tumblr user observes, "[A]ny protest in Egypt is a big deal, as people are not generally free to openly disagree with the government. Our Egyptian brothers and sisters are showing real courage here."
-Discussion of how "support for genocide divides the world but support for palestine unifies it"
-Bisan Owda calls for a global strike Jan 21st-28th
-Israeli troops use Palestinian Bahaa Abu Ras as a human shield
-"Y'all don't have an excuse. I don't want to hear any bitching and moaning from the Western 'Marxist-Leninists' who pontificate and scoff over the means Palestinians are using to advocate for our liberation and freedom. The people dodging bombs are asking us to do this, the least you can fucking do is participate you insolent, opportunistic cunts."
-"The last remaining hospital in Gaza is now under attack. Everyone is fleeing and nobody has anywhere else to go. Rafah was designated safe."
-The US Senate rejects Bernie Sanders' resolution to stop funding Israel until a human rights report was conducted. Additional commentary includes names of senators who backed the resolution, and links to contact those who didn't.

I'm not yet satisfied with the amount of death.""
-Reminder that it's fine (even encouraged!) for non-Palestinians to wear keffiyehs

When sorrow and difficulties strike hard, hope becomes the lone star in the dark sky. This is the story of Amira, a 23-year-old girl who found herself bearing the burden of her family after her father's death three years ago due to the coronavirus.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
After my father's passing, I found myself taking care of my family, consisting of my mother, sister Noor, and brother Abdulrahman. My mother, suffering from high blood pressure and diabetes, faces health problems that further complicate their situation. But courage and determination drive Amira forward.
I worked as a teaching assistant at the university while pursuing a master's degree in data science, and also worked as a programmer in a company. My life was going smoothly until war came and destroyed everything.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
My university, workplace, and home were completely destroyed, forcing them to flee south in search of a safe haven. Now, I and my family live in tents for displaced people in Deir al-Balah, where they suffer from water shortages and the spread of diseases, posing an additional challenge, especially for my immunocompromised mother.
This is a brief about our daily suffering.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Please help me, my mother, my sister and my brother to go out to treat my mother because she suffers from widespread diseases because her immunity is weak and help us to complete our educational journey, me and my brother

going to put this very bluntly - please both donate to and reblog mohammad and shaima's fundraiser. they are stuck in khan younis. we all know that the hospitals in khan younis are not functioning right now, because israel deliberately targeted and destroyed them. salma, wafaa's niece who is a puny 5 years old, was turned away by medical aid in gaza, because they had nothing left. she is now suffering from rashes and an intestinal infection. she is five years old. she is five years old, suffering from rashes and an infection. she cried on her birthday. please donate and reblog. please don't ignore this because you think someone else is bound to donate. everyone is thinking that and passing this fundraiser without giving it a second glance. these children are suffering. please donate however much you can and reblog.

⏰ 🚨 attention please🙏🚨
I am Dr. Mohammed Aldeeb,🩸💉 a dedicated specialist in emergency medical care from the Gaza Strip.
💊 🩺🩹
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
For years, I poured my heart and soul into my work at Al-Shifa Hospital, striving to be a doctor of great repute,
caring for the wounded and the ill with compassion and skill.💉🩹
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
However😥,
the devastation of war disrupted our lives and prevented us from serving our patients at Al-Shifa Hospital😣💔,
forcing me to leave my cherished home and the familiar walls of the hospital that had become my second home, a place of comfort, peace, and beautiful memories of my work.😔
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
As I left behind the echoes of laughter and camaraderie with my colleagues, patients, and friends,😰
I embarked on a painful journey southward. I bid farewell to the streets where I grew up, the corners I sought refuge in😥😭💔, and the colleagues who felt like family.
Memories of my formative years and the countless lives I touched during my tenure at Al-Shifa 😣and other medical facilities, such as Friends of the Patient Hospital and the Indonesian Hospital, overwhelmed me as I struggled to come to terms with the upheaval.😔😥
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Despite the adversities that besieged me,
I held fast to my dream of becoming a successful doctor. 😀😁✌💚
I was fortunate enough to study medicine at Al-Azhar University, from which I graduated and later served as a teaching assistant, imparting knowledge to aspiring medical students with unwavering dedication. 😀🙏🖤
Tumblr media Tumblr media
The idea of specializing in internal medicine drew me back to Al-Shifa Hospital, but sadly,
the brutal war destroyed it, shattering my hopes. In the midst of the chaos and destruction brought by war🥺😣💔
Tumblr media
I sustained multiple injuries and narrowly escaped with my life. 🥺
The sanctuary of my home, a place of peace and beautiful memories, was completely destroyed, leaving my family and me impoverished and homeless. 😣💔😰
Tumblr media
Yet, amidst the ruins, a glimmer of hope persists as I continue my work at Al-Aqsa Hospital😀, extending a helping hand to those in need without expecting anything in return. I draw strength from the humanity and love instilled in me by my teachers and mentors during my years of education and service.✌😁❤
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Today, we find ourselves taking refuge in a humble tent, ⛺ 😭😣💔
stripped of our possessions and livelihoods. The loss of my job, my home, and some of my loved ones is a heavy burden to bear. 😢
Nevertheless, I refuse to succumb to despair, holding on to the belief that brighter days lie ahead.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
With a heavy heart, I reach out to you🥺🙏💚
dear reader, seeking your assistance in securing safe passage for myself and my family from the chaos and brutality of war in Gaza. 🥺🙏🇵🇸🍉💔🖤💛💝
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
With your kindness and generosity🥺, I hope to reclaim the path to achieving my medical career, 🩺💉🩸
becoming a specialist in internal medicine, and returning to help my people.
This would enable me to provide care for my loved ones and contribute to the healing of our wounded nation.Your compassionate aid would mean the world to me and my family.🥺🙏❤🇵🇸✌

Help save Bilal's family!
i want to talk about my friend Bilal @bilal-salah0. for over a year now, Bilal has been living in germany, trying to adjust to his new living situation in a foreign country, learning a new language and working full time.
when the war started, he was far away from home and his family and has been living in daily fear for their lives ever since.
being forced to work long hours and promoting his family’s fundraiser at the same time, he has taken on more responsibility than anyone ever should. still, he managed to raise money for their evacuation fund and helped take care of his family’s daily needs with the money he was making while working.
in a cruel twist of fate, all of this got taken away in an instant. he lost his job and his apartment and even his residence permit. which means he is at danger of deportation from germany that could happen as soon as next week!
i have been in daily contact with Bilal for a while now and connected him with some of my friends in germany. together, we are trying our utmost to make sure he can stay in the country. anyone who knows german bureaucracy knows what kind of hell it is. but we won't give up.
without his job, he was forced to dip into the money of his family’s evacuation fund to cover their daily expenses like food and shelter. this meant he had to raise his goal from €70,000 to €100,000. this was not an easy decision for him to make, he even asked for my advice on whether or not to do it, because he did not want anyone to think he was scamming people.
even in such a desperate situation, Bilal does not want to be seen as someone who would ever take advantage of people's generosity
his family is comprised of 18 members, 10 of them are adults and 8 are children under 16 years old, some of them newborns who were born amidst the chaos of war and displacement.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
currently, he is sitting at:
€71,817 / €100,000
donations have been slowing down ever since he reached his original goal. i cannot stress how important it is that they pick back up!
WE ARE RUNNING OUT OF TIME! HE NEEDS TO REACH HIS GOAL BY AUGUST 15TH!
THAT MEANS HE HAS TO RAISE NEARLY 30K IN THE NEXT TEN DAYS. THIS CANT WAIT.
his campaign has been verified and can be found on @/el-shab-hussein’s and @/nabulsi’s list of vetted fundraisers here (#132, line 136) so PLEASE don't hesitate to share and donate.
With such a tight deadline, i cant do this on my own. So i implore you to PLEASE share this wherever you can– on your whatsapp groups, on your discord servers, please share his story on other platforms wherever you have reach! Please share his story wherever you can, so that we can ease this burden from his shoulders.

URGENT: Save Wafaa's Family in Gaza
Hi all, I cannot express the depth of sorrow and panic Wafaa (@wafans-blog) is feeling all afternoon seeing the donations that had been so generous and forthcoming this morning slowly trickle down to nothing. Earlier if not for @turian's reblog observing that there has been 40 minutes without donations, the stagnation would have lasted god knows how long.
Originally when setting up the gofundme page for Shaima and Muhammad (verified by @/el-shab-hussein on vetted spreadsheet as family number 260), Wafaa said this to me, I remember it clearly, "Can we talk about the joy? Days before the war, they were living their lives and building their dreams. I don't want to diminish that because of what has happened. I want to post about my family's happiness."
But clearly as we have seen in Wafaa's fundraiser for her own children and for her sister and brother, only posts about what trauma or illness had befallen the children of the family conveyed the urgent need for help. I feel torn because this feels like exploiting a family's pain in order to trade for their survival.
When Wafaa had said this statement about joy to me, she had also told me that her family were at ground zero of the al-Mawasi camp massacre (which happened on July 13, and where the family is STILL LIVING), with more than 100 martyrs. Without exaggeration, there were 3 full days of constant bombardment from multiple warplanes overhead, and drones with machine guns that would fire at anything that moved.
Miraculously and thankfully, Muhammad and Shaima's families emerged mostly unscathed. Muhammad and Ahmed, Muhammad's eldest son, had once during the 3 days ventured out quickly to search for water and weeds to feed the younger children's stomach and they were shot at by the iof in the hand and legs. Muhammad in their video call yesterday thankfully told Wafaa both him and his son's injuries have healed fine with no further infections.
Wafaa did not want to share this, but she told me earlier this afternoon that I had her permission to post this for you all. Wafaa had only wanted to maintain her family's dignity in this time, but unfortunately for her this demonstrated help will only come when her family proves to you their tangible and visceral suffering.
I have run out of words to convey how urgently we need to at least save the 10 children in this family. So far we have raised funds for 6 of the 10. Please continue in raising funds so that we can evacuate Zeina and her 3 older brothers as well.
No donations again for 30 full minutes. We need to raise $25,000 within three days for Zeina. Let's complete our daily goal today.
Currently $20,710 raised of $21,500 daily goal. We need to raise $790 more to fulfill this. Please continue sharing and donating. Consider entering the plush giveaway for donors as well.

I went to a pro-Palestine protest and I later saw that one of the local newspapers had written about it calling it a “pro-Hamas” rally. I left a lengthy comment on the article telling off the author for journalistic malpractice because not one of speakers at the rally ever said that they supported Hamas. He also conveniently omitted the fact that Jewish Voice for Peace was a major organizer of the event to try and make it seem like every single person at the rally was a Muslim. A few days later, the article got taken down. Keep calling out the mainstream media on their hypocrisy and dishonesty - your advocacy DOES make a difference!
