‘I should have been with him’: Ukrainian mother describes the horror of losing her 10-year-old in a Russian airstrike

CNN aired this report today. It reminded me of a quote by Joseph Stalin, "A single death is a tragedy. A million deaths is a statistic." We need to focus on the tragedies of war, not the statistics. Maybe then the people who start them will think twice. Assuming they're human, of course.
