Boxing Day hike up Cherro Chato volcano. Was only 6km up and down but it was like an obstacle course. Check out these two beauts. We paid hundreds of dollars to go on wildlife treks and saw naff all and then we stop at a service station at the side of the motorway and see loads of shit for free! We left Monteverde this morning. I enjoyed our time there but 3 nights was definitely enough. I think my favourite bit was the zip lining. We went through sky adventures. See ya laters San Jose

Sooooo our first and only full day in San Jose. I was awake at 4:30am so the day for me was long. We went out at 8am and I think we'd seen everything we wanted to by lunch time. We did a tour of the very pretty National Theatre. It's $10 for a wander about or the same price to have a guided tour. The tour takes about 45mins and you get to learn all about the history of the building. Our tour guide Daniel was very informative and interesting. Richard wanted to go round the Gold Museum. It was alright. $11 each. We went to a micro in the afternoon. Wilk Craft Beer. The beers were great. You can get a tasting board with 5 beers. I particularly liked the Segua a red beer. We got a sampler sharing platter to eat. I didn't like this....lots of chips and corn. We then went to another craft beer bar called Stiefl Bar. We used uber a bit yesterday too which was a good way to get around as the beer places are a bit of a trek. I don't think there is much more to really say about San Jose apart from all the people are really friendly and helpful.
