To The Selection Fans,

The recent census has confirmed that a single woman between the ages of sixteen and twenty currently resides in your home. We would like to make you aware of an upcoming opportunity to honor the great nation of Illéa. Our beloved prince, Nathaniel Schreave, is coming of age this month. As he ventures into this new part of his life, he hopes to move forward with a partner, to marry a true Daughter of Illéa. If your eligible daughter, sister, or charge is interested in possibly becoming the bride of Prince Nathaniel Schreave and the adored princess of Illéa, please fill out the enclosed form and return it to your local Province Services Office. One woman from each province will be drawn at random to meet the prince.

one year

((just so you know this is “berklake’s” one year anniversary. just to put into time understanding this is probably about a year and a half after berk’s elimination))

I wake up to the sound of my apartment door opening, I reach over for my phone to see if Blake texted me to let me know that he’s coming over, and nothing. I slip on a sweatshirt and quietly tip toe my way to my bedroom door. I hear a quiet rustling sound and a lot of shhh’s. I peek out the door to see who is there and see his dark hair. His back is facing me and he is moving something around on the floor. “Babe?” I whisper and he still gets startled, “what are you doing?”

He waves one arm while holding something I couldn’t see, “just go back to your room for a second.” I hesitate and he gives me a look, “it’s a surprise,” and I slowly walk back into my room. I’m thinking, “what is he doing? What is he hiding?” After about a minute or so he calls out, “BABE!” and I run out to see what it is. I see Blake standing there holding a tiny little tan and white bull terrier.

My mouth drops, “Blake, wh-wh-what?” I slowly walk towards him.

“He’s yours,” he holds him and looks down at him, “isn’t he cute?”

“Babe,” I start tearing up and reach out to hold my little baby. I wipe my tear and start laughing, “is this why you have been asking me about dogs so much?”

Blake chuckles, “yeah, he’s actually been at my place for like a week now.”

“WHAT?! You have been keeping him from me?!”

“Well yeah, I wanted to save him for today.” He shrugs. “I got him some toys, oh and he gets along sooo well with Banjo.”

I fall into him and whine, “you got me a dog.”

“Yes, I got you a dog,” he laughs while wrapping his arms around me and kisses the top of my head.

“Does he have a name?” he shakes his head, “ooh, what about Aspen?”

Blake gives me a smile, “I love it.”

((so if you didn’t put two and two together, or just didn’t remember. but when berk and blake went to tammins they went to aspen (and have gone many times since) but they love it there so that’s how aspen is named aspen))

berk wouldn't be able to be with anyone if they didn't have a dog, that's mostly why berk and dom didn't work out.

our trip to tammins 💕

((here is probably one of like three mini fics, vad is the only one who i think cares and is even reading them. also picture/edits are after the keep reading))

Ever since I told my parents that I started dating Blake they have been dying to meet him, mostly my mom. Every once and awhile when we were on the phone she would be like “when’s the next time you’re coming home? Would Blake wanna come?” I would just roll my eyes and say that it’s up to him. He himself has been asking if we could go to back. His reasons are that “he isn’t working on any movies right now”, “it's all snowy and cold in Tammins” and the one I’m not sure if I believe but am going with it, “I have never touched snow”. I finally gave in because it’s been awhile since I’ve been home and seeing him with Poppy would make my day. He gets super excited and books us a flight right away. Within a week we were in Tammins, sitting in my living room with my family. Blake and the twins get along so well, Logan loves having a football buddy. Poppy and Banjo became best friends, it was adorable. After about a week being at home, we head up for our trip to the mountains, I don’t think I have ever seen someone so excited to see snow. We make it up to our cabin in Aspen, we have an amazing view out every window. We go snowboarding, which I haven’t done in years. We go and explore all the small towns nearby, every single touristy thing possible, we did. It was such a wonderful trip, it was great going home and seeing my family. But nothing was better than seeing my family with him.

berks future life

((im too lazy to edit the fic i wrote and it's not even that good. so here's what happens after berk gets eliminated, she goes home for like a month or two but goes back to angeles because she misses charlotte. she moves into an apartment about 5 minutes away from the palace because she is char's lady-in-waiting. after about 3 months of living in angeles and multiple adventures with char, she meets a famous actor named blake. he has a dog and they instantly click, they go on lots of adventures (i’m not sure if i’ll post them). yeah that's basically it.))
