BUT MY DARLINGS MY DARLINGS they are like orpheus and eurydice but if they were siblings.

Basically their dad, Draven, is a fallen noble man of this place called Shadowton. Basically he got the title but no money so he marries this very pretty young girl names Ariadne who is well off, hoping to get rich and to have an heir.

Anteo is born but he is super sick and weak so 5 years later they try again and Ortensia happens, Draven gets pissed and sends Ortensia and Ariadne away.

So Anteo grows up with his asshole of a father who makes it impossible for his mom to go get him. He reads and draws, he steals objects of his mom from his dad studio and collects info about his sister. In one of the sessions we had he gave Ortensia a drawing of her and I sobbed my eyes out while last session he gave me a hair ring.

He is easily excited now that she is back, he even managed to disobey his dad and my girl promises him to get him out of that hell of a house. He never got out both bc of his health and bc of his father but he wants to and Ortensia wants to travel with him..my dnd companion Purrfetto was like "don't be an adventurer once u grow up" and he said through tears "I was never very good at it" BABYYYYYY

And what is love if not two siblings searching for eachothers through war and a cunt of a father.

Ortensia is the youngest but she views Anteo as a sort of child. I think about that clip from Critical Role where the character of Nott is like "our relationship is that of a parent and a child, but I'm the parent, you do understand that. I protect him, he is MY boy"
